Adm. Code 226 (Special Education).
Lesson Plan - Reading Charlotte's Web Chapter 12
This lesson plan shows inclusion of accommodations, modifications, and planned support, serves as a rational illustration of Standard 1, particularly emphasizing 1H's directive to analyze and use student information for tailored instruction. The lesson plans show the accommodations as preferential seating, minimize distractions in the environment, allow freedom to move about, stand, and pace if needed, first/then schedule. Also reduce the number of choices, simplify language in directions, multimodal instruction, AAC device for communication, modeling, prompts, and large print. The lesson plan's modifications are reworded questions in simpler language, modified grades based on IEP, and reduce reading level.
