When working with trade books it is important to know your students to determine specific aspects of the text, such as the readability level of the book, the type of vocabulary that is used in the book, how many words and pictures are on each page, and how many total pages there are within the book. These contribute to the resources and materials, accommodations, and modifications that will be used for each individual student.
