Online teachers must be able to create assessments that cover the accurately measure the mastery of course content. The teacher must be able to design meaningful assessments such as projects that align to state standards and to the goals of the course and the teacher must take steps to ensure the integrity of the assessment.
During my studies in the endorsement program, we focused much attention to creating assessments that would discourage academic dishonesty and would also allow for more creative student products. During our final course, we also created pre- and post-assessments to go along with our instructional unit.
As evidence for meeting this standard, one could view the assessments in my online problem solving unit. To access the course, one would need to join Schoology and enroll in my course using the access code D3788-GB95G. I've attached a few screenshots form the course as well. I am also attaching a document reflecting on an assignment where I was asked to cheat on an online multiple choice quiz and to learn how to out smart plagiarism detectors.
