In the morning at 08:30 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha town and drive on a tarmac road 130 km to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunches for game drives. The lake occupies a large area of the park, and the forest begins just when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley, with hot springs to the west of the park. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, buffalo, giraffe, hippos, troops of baboons, as well as flamingo birds, ostriches, Egyptian geese, and more. After your picnic lunch, continue with afternoon game drives before you leave the park for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dream.
The Lodge is situated in the tourist town of Karatu on the southwestern slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater, at an altitude of 1,400 feet above sea level. The Lodge is surrounded by lush gardens filled with flowers and vegetables. The property offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding hills and is in close proximity to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park.
The warm and cozy rooms provide scenic views of the reserve and tropical gardens. The spacious en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a WC, shower, washbasins, and luxurious toiletries. Each bedroom opens up to a terrace furnished with a table and chairs.
After breakfast, we will descend to the crater with lunch boxes for a full-day game drive.
The Ngorongoro district in Tanzania, home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater and bordering the Serengeti National Park, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth. Animals here have the freedom to move around. This free movement of animals, coupled with the rich volcanic soil, lush forests, and spring-fed lakes on the crater floor, makes it a year-round attraction for tourists. The crater is home to various wildlife, including black rhinos, cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and numerous bird species like ostriches, vultures, and flamingos on the crater's soda lake. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site at Ngoitokitok Swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, we'll continue with afternoon game viewing while ascending the crater.
Afterward, we will drive back to Moshi. If you wish, you may visit the Mto wa Mbu market or any Maasai market along the way before reaching Moshi in the late evening.
