JAI MARTONE

Jai Martone is a multi-award-winning Cardiff-based composer specialising in music for theatre. Currently in 2nd year studying Composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, their distinctive musical style is emotional, unapologetic, and direct, often hinting at their Neapolitan heritage. Jai is the recipient of the Welsh Music Guild's Acapela Studio Award 2026, the winner the RWCMD Band of the Welsh Guards Composition Competition 2026, and was among the first Western composers to write for horsehead fiddle players at the Mongolian State Conservatory in Autumn 2025.
