Pictured is the cart we used to transport the robot for almost two years. This cart was top-heavy, it had small wheels, it wasn't structurally sound, and it wasn't at a workable height for the robot.
For the summer project of 2022, we decided we were going to build a robot cart. This cart would have an adjustable height and larger wheels to get over rough terrain. It would also have space underneath it for members to easily get under the robot when necessary.
The height of the platform can be adjusted by rotating screws in the bottom of the cart. one of the supports (on the left in this image) is fixed and the other has a nut fastened to its base. When the screw rotates the front support moves along the base to different positions.
