The status of Epigenetics- There were some releases of abstracts ( I'm not sure if these are already published but well presented) using algorithmic models (I hope I termed it right), statistical models or probably mathematical models lacing itself through the mechanisms of inheritance. But there are a lot of doubts as to their conclusions. On my part I would rather have molecular markers to tag these probable epigenetic characteristics that were successfully passed on to their progenies. Without the molecular tags, I doubt if these models could work out.
To recall, this is what E.O. Wilson of Harvard University which I keep in my Theoretical Web Page until now wrote/said-
"The annals of theoretical biology are clogged with mathematical models that either can be safely ignored or, when tested, fail. Possibly no more than 10% have any lasting value. Only those linked solidly to knowledge of real living systems have much chance of being used."
That is why I am more perceptive how the molecules of epigenetics are being passed from one generation to another by knowing, tagging and molecularly exploiting the "genes" responsible for them and how these are modified, by- passed or twisted by the environments, both internal and external" to assume the epigenetic phenotype. In fact the Epigenetics of Homosexuality has been "hot" for some time and I still hold firmly to my Theory of the Impermanence of Epigenes.

Diseases as Molecularly Defined~~2016/November
by I. Savillo
The causes of infectious diseases include the pathogenic (opportunistic) microorganisms, specifically their microbial toxins/enzymes [and the microorganisms as infectious and the specific microbial proteins (but in special cases some may also be infectious) as toxic].
The causes of infectious diseases that are genetically (or epigenetically) produced are the misfolded proteins* [and likely misfolded proteins are infectious and toxic].
The causes of non infectious diseases that could be possibly passed through generations are the purely chromosomal and/or extrachromosomal genetic diseases and/or the epigenes [and their products (proteins), the presence or absence thereof as causes of the diseases].
The causes of non infectious diseases are the "environmental toxins" which may include the allergens among others. This could be due to the lost ability of the genes/genetic products (proteins) to stop or neutralize as well as get rid of these environmental toxins [where in special cases they may further influence/trigger the gene through mutation etc. or genetic product (protein) to produce a protein that may cause a disease].
Therefore Diseases are caused by
some special type of proteins
[the presence or absence thereof].
*"misfolded proteins" from the late Dr. Susan Lindquist.. Thanks and RIP.

Epigenetics Theory on WBC/ 2016/Nov.
Way back some years, I remembered reading an introductory paragraph about Microbiology in the Microbiology Department of UCLA. It says most likely that "A cell [it could be a microbe or a human living cell, in my understanding] is an organism by itself." Therefore, the cell has to defend itself as well as post translate itself into something different. [I used “itself” twice just to put emphasis]. There are WBC where some pathogenic viruses could not come in due to particular mutations most likely in their membrane receptors. In fact the latter are always in mind if cancer is brought out (but not necessarily on WBC). These are as fickle a pseudo or a plastic type of molecule. Nevertheless, as in the case of CCR5 mutation for reasons that some are HIV positive but may not develop AIDS, this may be a translation product as expressed by the gene most likely in the hematopoeitic stem cells. Then this is purely Genetics. In fact there is even a test to determine if one has this “beneficial” mutation or not. But WBC has a way of reacting towards the pathogen: such feedback as to the quantity of production and type of cells that need to be produced during the onset of infection. Considering that it has this motive, then why not do something about itself in order to protect it from invasions of these viruses through their membrane receptors for one? It could be a post translational scheme of the epigenetic factors (like the histone). Or it could be done during the translational processes. It could be a participatory of an external/neighboring gene and/or a non- genetic factor (in the environment). Or mechanism more than the epigenetic aspect. It's life span may be short but in such lethal environment the modifiers during the post translation processes could have been alerted to help in its normal existence: a post translational/translational/transcriptional modification or even mutation. If it is a mixture of WBC with and without the mutation, then the modification could have been within the molecular process post replication. It could be outstandingly worthwhile if the stems cells are the ones being mutated and the rest are wild. Live it up WBC! Still without AIDS, it is claimed that the HIV has some implications in cardiology and oncology (as to a recent news).

Nov/6/2016`` On Candida auris . This is a microfungus having yeast and filamentous forms that is considered as multi-resistant against fungicides. If we compare bacterial antibiotics- there are various sites/substances that it targets, like the cell wall and particular points in protein synthesis or a mistaken similar metabolic molecule that unfortunately will not lead to the production of an essential molecule and all of these would lead to bacterial death. Some of these bacterial antibiotics are in modified form or even a product of molecular manipulation. Most of them are directed to specific types of bacteria. But in fungicides, I think it is still in a generalized level of control. It seems that the idea that "any pathogenic microfungus could be killed by any fungicide" is becoming a consideration. Therefore now that there is a show of resistance then it is high time to explore the other essential targets involving other molecular structures and metabolic pathways and to pinpoint/locate that particular target (e.g. in the membrane, enzymatic cycle or etc.) wherein an appropriate fungicide could be developed to lyse or destroy this target in the specific microfungus leading to death[of this microfungus]. It would be nice to widely explore the fungicide arena as to its production and/or synthesis similarly or even much more than what is being done with the bactericides.

Cellular versus Organismal--
It has been known proteins exhibit plasticity. Way back years we talk about the plasticity of the gene but because of the various processes happening within the protein synthesis level including the post translation-[ I was about to say post protein synthesis but that will make the highly molecularly manipulated protein exclusive of protein synthesis and it looks gross- so stick to post translation] of the protein [rather than the gene], the latter I think is much better used in discussions. Therefore, we have proteins that could be as fickle as they are post translated... where post translation could be their last or are there still some more processes before it will build up the real FINAL protein product past post translation [that we use to know at present]? Probably, there will be some revelations of these new mechanisms in the future. Let it be a never ending research. So, it is true that due to the "ficklemindedness" of these proteins it is expected that it could bring phenotypic variations, cellular and/or organismal. How about the "Organism" as a whole who is fed by these kaleidoscopic maze of proteins and is a sum total of all these biological proteins could think and speak as if it means to be permanent and the "organisms" who are listening, believes in its permanency later to find out the plasticity of its reality. I think if there is cellular psychology , it is much better than the organismal one. It seems that they are just not parallel at all. Is this an evolutionary direction? We all live in a flurry of lies an antithesis of what the cells are. Even how true, the truth is, this is overshadowed and camouflaged by uncertainties and alternatives in a split second.

~~Beating Discomfort with Discomfort-
Re-reading the dissertation of a colleague from Sweden on "carbonyl reductase in fish", which she sent to me --- in her introduction, I just can't help thinking how humans use materials for their own comfort but those materials are unconsciously toxic to humans. It could have unfavorable cellular and at the end an organismal reaction.

On Cell from Cell (Journal) most recent-
A graduate student talked about the crystalline structure of the cytoplasm in E. coli. Deducing that this bacterium is "forever" vegetative, it needs this kind of "defense". But I wonder if this is true to all bac including the endospore forming? It needs to narrow to some kind of generalization after lot of mutilations.

The genetic code being claimed as universal by some is limited in scope. Others have different equivalents per triplet and others have genetic sum as haploid. Whether these are their special characteristics they could be considered as organisms unless they could in visible light transform or re-transform themselves into gametes so such as they are, then they most likely be called as such.

Tissular-
Using this in scientific papers has given new insights that cells maybe similar or different within a tissue could have their own biochemical bearing for an important exclusive phenotype. Well cellular we know it refers to cells while organismal as defined ? does not refer to an organ but to the organism as a whole- then tissular is maybe necessary in this respect- for more meticulous explanations of what is broadly or narrowly happening within the organ. ..terms...terms...terms.

Waiting Game
The Deuteromycetes and the Myxomycetes/Eumycetozoans
These are the microorganisms that could not fully experience their full metamorphoses unless one dig them up and expose them to an ambient environment to germinate or put an appropriate chemical/nutrient medium on them in the laboratory. Without anthropogenic assistance, they wait for nature to do it. Imagine the deuteromycetes meshed or buried in a compost pit or eumycetozoans in an almost watery environment... Can they develop and "flex their legs" and raise their fruiting bodies up in all splendor? (legs are stalks). Only if the environment says so.

Antivirulence agents versus Antibiotics
Antibiotics kill but do not spare the pathogenic bacteria in releasing toxic substances once the infection takes place. Therefore, the virulent factors are the target of the antivirulence agents. I can see a similarity with the drugs used in HIV but when it is presented the immune system could not kill the bug which is otherwise in bacteria. Antivirulence agent is also considered as a bacteriostatic type of antibiotic - it needs the immune system to complete the work. But I think antibiotic is still needed here or will be dosed at the same time as long as they are not in conflict because the effectivity and efficiency of the Antivirulence agents must be as great as that of the antibiotics to prove its success. Also it must not be toxic to human cells.

New Knowledge
Submerged Portions of Mangroves as a "Macro- Sea Grass" with its epiphytic components
by Isidro A. T. Savillo
In my observation, during low tides, I have seen species of mollusks on the leaves, stems , trunks of mangrove trees and also particular microscopic algae in niches of their branches. As observed, they may feed on these micro- algae. These are just pioneering finds (as to what type of micro- algae are there) and I believe there is still more that submerged components of mangroves can be ecological shelter of epiphytes ( as to what species besides the micro- algae) and would be contributory to a new type of an ecosystem.
Arboreal Mollusc behavior (Previous studies)
a) Littoraria evades high tides.
*In my observation, there are gastropods that are still up the branches and leaves of mangrove even this mangrove tree is in a dry stand. -Previous study stated that The delaying mechanism of migrating upwards is due to feeding. Is it? When they can spend all of their time up the mangrove tree if they wish to skip the epifaunal habit of feeding. And migrate downwards on the trunks that have been exposed to high tide level and be scavengers (as previously claimed) to whatever the sea/brackish water has brought but not necessarily go down to the muddy area. The "timed"mechanisms of migrating downwards and upwards have to be totally analyzed because they are slow enough to evade high tides. Another study- UNU report on mangroves stated that a species of arboreal mangrove mollusk (missed its genus) is resting.
*If the Littoraria are good sensors or any gastropods, then they could be used as prediction guides for high tides or even tidal waves or even tsunamis! (Tsunamis take time to develop?? and are not part of the usual rise-and -fall of waves).
In previous lit, there is a Littoraria species that favors high tops and they have thin shells and they may not favor going downwards to escape the crab predators (because of their thin shells). Probably this could be the target organism. And probably they favor more the dry environment. "The higher they migrate upwards the bigger the waves." I am just posting this for there are various lit on this organism then why not try this?
b) Littoraria has been reported to eat microscopic algae, microfungi, algal filaments and mangrove tissues.
*I hope this is done by actual observation. If this is a laboratory simulation or a gut content analysis, there is a possibility that the source of the substrate was not aerial but could be mud etc. If the substrate has been subjected to isotope attachment and was done in laboratory, then the organism has to be "forced to eat" thus it is not the natural way of feeding. This also shows that the organism is euryphagous. This would then record the eating habits of this organism as something not exclusive of being arboreal-- meaning the staple food could not be pin pointed.
*It is also possible that the arboreal forms could favorably mate given the above the tree situation. Previous study state that mucus trailing of the female? has a pheromones.
"As a Sea Grass"- Sea grasses could not allow a moveable epiphyte to avoid high tide by climbing to its tip for they are totally submerged. By just looking at the vice versa- where a moveable epiphyte from a sea grass would detach itself from the sea grass once it is high tide for it needs to live in an aquatic state thus make use of the "water laden soil" or become in faunal in the process.
continuation.. arboreal ecosystem in mangroves

World of Beautification
As I rode and observed the environmental surroundings, I have noticed the flowers of shrubs and trees, the extra curls of hairs at the back of the ram, the polished look of dogs etc.... These are the beautification mechanism for sexual display and wants. Others are hidden in thoughts and muses. A stressful everyday load and this represents I think about 30- 50 % of an organisms' pre-occupation in every second of its life. It is permanent and difficult to efface but can be toned down. Yet, it could still find a "leak" and be expressed. I don't think that these sexual signs come only during adolescent or puberty in humans or adult stages in lower animals. Throughout the development of the organisms from zygote to senility these beautification processes and displays are occurring by means of cellular and molecular mechanisms undetected and these could ripen or found visible in latter stages but sometimes even earlier. A cell, a tissue , an organ have to waste these energy in everyday life for not any of which opt to remain neutral or non functional when it comes to sex.

**These two families donot have specific diagnostic features wherein some facts supporting them need to be broadened or corrected. Probably the reason here is that they are deep sea fishes and may incur more variations than specificities. Some Epigonus spp. donot have opercular spine and a Promethicthys was reported to have a single pelvic spine but in the specimen I looked into there are 2. I will be looking more closely into the two species that I have. They may be a strain or different species.

Ecological Terms that need to be dug deeper (Part of Graduate Students Discussion)
1. rheotaxis versus counter current flow
*rheotaxis has been defined in Odum's book but there is also a cellular phenomenon that I consider as part of Physiological Ecology- here the sperm go against the current produced by an oviduct fluid- but I think the sperm has to push through this current so as to reach an egg whereas countercurrent flow may not push through the current but would I think remain stationary passively and actively(? by chance branchial pumping may occur). In the recent paper, sperm's rheotaxis was found out to be passive.
2. pheromones versus chemical cues
*pheromones have greater applications in ecology than chemical cues. It is usually associated with chemicals produced in the human body (e.g. male smell repels by female thus leads to female- female attraction because female smell is not repulsive to the female partner, etc.) or during the about-to-spawn behavior of female fishes or when some mammals are on heat. While chemical cues are useful for tracking spawning places which were formerly the areas where the trackers were hatched and most importantly, the specificity of fertilization...e.g. when gametes of different coral organisms burst at one moonlight in November (?) at GBR, Cairns and each species gamete has the specific chemical cue to locate the species opposite gamete for fertilization. Thus, chemical cues lead to specificity.
***I really don't know when and how (again) these terminologies be further applied and extended.

When I came into my senses, I was asking questions of the standard way of raising kids? Until now there is none. Currently what jumps to my thoughts is the standard for raising(/sustaining) geriatric. Is there one? I don't think there is one. Both standards supposedly would result to the very best output as expected. The various genes and the various environmental factors that intertwine plus the age make it difficult to program such standards.

Why are the swim bladders used as a basis for specific id for Sillaginidae by FAO? The answer is they are huge- and have particular characteristics by species. I think they are more gigantic than any of the internal organs. (We have seen the sihama species and I think this is true for all) How nice to dream of how they float! Thumbs up! But our sb has some designs (streaks) not mentioned in the book.

A Comparative Molecular- Cellular- Environmental Analyses of Segmental Behavior in Autism
A comparative analyses of segmental behavior between [or among] autistic individuals and with those who manifest such segmental behavior* and are about to get into the realm of normalcy (though not 100% or even 90%) or even with normal people who manifest these segmental behavior and how they manage to overcome it. The focus will be the organs (specific part of brain, muscles etc., the neuronal pathway involved etc.) , the specific cells and their cellular composition including various substances and the interacting biomolecules and the pathways modified or created otherwise known as the controlling factors. In vitro analyses of the placenta such as placental fluids or fluid where it has substantial presence in the baby considering that pesticides etc. had been mentioned as one cause. In the context of allergy such as aerial pollution, in adults there are situations of drowsiness or even fainting or dreaming much more in the placenta with the baby subjected for both aerial and liquid "pollutions". Most likely a new pattern of behavior will be enacted. History of epigenetic origin will also be included in the environmental analysis. Molecular Genetic analysis will also be undertaken.
*Segmental behavior refers to a piece by piece mechanisms of behavior possesed by the autistic individual that would serve as the platform for comparative anaysis.
~Balbc mice or any murine that have more or less these manifestations. I know its difficult by finding a mouse that could not bear looking at the other mouse directly to its eyes but scientists know what do .
*Autistic individuals are deep thinkers one towards the inferiority state, and the other towards the superiority state.

12/24/2008~~ Statement I made on this date about "Instinct" from my Theoretical Biology Page
"....... in standing up for the ist time as observed in complex lower form of animals, etc. It's a cascade mechanism of signals initiated by birth- just like the bloating of the lungs once the fetus is out of her mom's placenta that will initiate lung- breathing reflexes. The biophysical influence of the environment here is working. ....the muti- interactions of organ systems such as the circulatory system, the extension mechanisms of the limbs and the bodies ripe need* for oxygen will drive the animal to stand...and the smell of milk will lead to his sucking needs or her mom's intimate* "signals". Well human babies are the lowest graded when it comes to environmentally influenced reactions independent of parents compared to complex lower forms of animals. Human babies are slaves to ..... their caretakers until they grow to be what they are as influenced in toto (by the enviroment and their genes). They just can't do things on their own. ............................"
Solution: (prevent Autism etc.)
Therefore, Guide/Entertain...etc.. well your babies upon birth so it could become as "normal" as you wish it to be... [remember the learning process of human babies is long...]

I haven't attended conferences on myxomycetes lately and here is one important knowledge..
"The role of the myxomycetes within the ecosystem is that of decomposers. Stephenson said that the organisms are very important when considering nutrient recycling. When a plant dies, the myxomycetes break down the dead plant matter, which in turn enriches the nutrients in the soil providing the necessities for new plant life."

There is one recent publication that has done a study in employing both the molecular (bar coding techniques- mitochondrial assay...) with the morphological/morphometric/ meristic biology (no genes though for the latter three as what I proposed last time - See Philippine Myxomycetes web page) to say that it is Integrative taxonomy.

Weather right now in the Visayas region of the Phil is not a promising all day bright and sunny in spite that we do have morning sunshines but in all most all afternoon chances are I think that rain will come. Any scientific explanation? In western africa, this happens but only during the rainy season not as frequent as what is happening here and it's not a striking sunshine (as what is happening here in the mornings) but a more or less uniform all throughout a rainy day (in Africa). All I can say is... the weather phenomenon is always EXTENDED and sometimes some sorts of "extremes" are being approached.

On Pyxine cocoes- my discovery of this lichen as a bioindicator/biomonitor has been extensively used in India and being studied in Thailand and recently Indonesia and currently (2017) identified in a published paper from Malaysia. In India, they did transplants on these. Considering that all the peoples of the worlds are affected by air pollution, In tropical Asia or in tropical countries why don't we look specifically of using Pyxine cocoes as a monitor for pollution in the environment where we live. Better ways of analyzing pollutants by doing a simple test like an inexpensive kit to determine for the presence of these pollutants in Pyxine cocoes tissues, etc. In here, Pyxine cocoes will just grow freely without the need of electricity or battery to keep it going like commercial sensors. And also to compare both. How efficient these electric sensors are to detect pollution? With a transplant Pyxine cocoes and a kit, you know whether the place where you live is safe enough pollution wise for your health as well as that of your family.
*this is one (Pyxine cocoes as a bioindicator/biomonitor for atmospheric pollution) of my accomplishments where I was judged as the Outstanding International Researcher for 2010 by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research. Go PAIR!

Is it possible for a flower to self pollinate without the help of external factors? My answer is no. Even a slight whiff of a wind when a complete flower closes can help drop the pollens to a flower's stigma. Flowers do not have the accessories of planting gametes to target organs. They are usually mutual or exhibit protocooperation but there is one which impairs its "prey" after or during pollination (of this prey - so no longer mutual). Probably this a unique ecological relationship; similarly as the spider that eats its mate after mating or is there such thing as during mating, only that in this case it impairs a supposed -to- be- friend a pollinator but also a juicer of its nectars. Venus flytrap has leaves that kill and digest the insects and are not involve in pollination. Flowers are seen at the top away from these types of leaves so pollinating insects are not impaired or killed. So this eco relationship states that "One member of a Pair is benefited and the other is impaired"-- as the Savillo type in case Odum doesnot have one of this. A Painful type of mutualism/protocooperation in flowers. Sensual trap for the vft while sexual trap for this flower. Common sense this is a complete flower otherwise how can this poor lep be able to bring the pollen to the neighboring species if it gets hooked. Or it looses a leg and continuously pollinate a neighboring species, this is just too grim to think about.

On Cellular moderation-
Let us not put too much baggage in our cells. That is so much substances that could be a product of what we eat or think or what ever things we do with our biological systems . Moderation will be fine. Our immune system is not all the time weak. It is only when it encounters a new foreign microbe or or a new allergen but it is in the process of working things out to neutralize or get rid of this. It may take time. And soon this will be of no great effect compared to the moment when it was previously encountered. And Unless there is cellular moderation. Whether a minimum viral titer (unless very much new in terms of molecular proteins/genome that no other common microbes share) or any substances (as long as not highly toxic or poisonous), etc. this could not create extreme consequences considering that their cellular moderation status is maintained. To help in this moderation in numbers [or in quantities (e.g. such as substances)], there is a need to use medications or probably substances from natural products that are tested to be appropriate for that disease. And think in moderation too. Don't panic. Once there is cellular moderation, one can be healthy or would move towards a healthy life... for whatever disease or disease to be.

To catch a run away toxic monster....
Cancer cells are products of proto oncogenes that have gone awry. It could be any of the following: (as a result of genetic mutation) extra copies , hyperactive genetic products or expressions , amplifying transcription activities, gene fusions resulting to a gene with oncogenic properties.. etc. Besides killing those abnormal cells, catching/ neutralizing/minimizing those oncogenetic products may work. And to look more closely to the abnormal patterns of protein synthesis and to tweak it somewhere else without affecting the PS of normal cells. Or a highly dividing pseudo cell that could welcome these op to its membrane receptors where it may re process it to a friendly molecule once it is internalize and/or the said cell will undergo apoptosis no longer be able to reincarnate the op.

Was not the usual pattern
For two consecutive or more? years the months of late November and early December were where the strongest typhoons usually pass (forms a belt) through the Visayas region of the Phil. But not this year... This year has been characterize as more rains ( I can't recall what month it began but I think earlier than the usual May or June) than sunshiny days. No permanent cyclone paths and that's good news.... unlike the hurricanes of southern USA. It's amusing to think of the changes of weather in the Islands. I think Feb/March or to ? there was continuous chill usually in early morning..I think comforters will now be made available in the household. Some homes are not so "concrete" to keep away the cold. Yes there is always an excess of weather feelers ( rain, chill or frezzy chill, heat, winds) .

Prions, Oncogenetic proteins, etc. are organismic killers. Then why don't there be ways of getting rid of them. They are just proteins that have gone berserked (i.e. change in structure for prions) . I have read antibodies directed towards op.. but i think it was just for characterization... Antigens for op need to be conserved (Thor gene may give a hint) and probably it could be lysed later by something which eventually works like a vaccine. It's high time to think about it.

In the Visayas, the holidays means stormy rainy weather... In the East Coast of the U.S., it's stormy snowy weather...
What do you think is the best X'mas apparel for the rain where one don't get sick? The tropical rain would stick to a warm temperature and may activate the disease causing germs... and once in the human body temp. may instigate it to progress further to a disease... thinking about the snowy weather, lower temperature means lesser pathogens activation? It all depends of how much load is in the body to provoke a disease at 37 degrees C rain or snow...

When I visited the page of the univ. of my protege I noticed that the ISI- Int'l organization has accredited it as something "one of the best" in a particular category. Last time, It was the researchers / scientists around the world which she awarded. The previous similar organization as far as I know did not do this. In the Phil., there are two organizations that are the pioneers in giving these most likely similar awards. I don't think there is a problem in that as long as the integrity is maintained. Pioneers means they are the first. I don't have to say this but it is really nice to put an emphasis. In the first place I like pioneering works.

Hordes of authors versus single authorship
It does not mean that because you are a co author of ten or more authors including the senior author and the principal investigator in a publication, your name is a spark. Don't mislead the audience. It's just like kitchen work- one will wash the dishes (in other words his expertise), the other will cut the carrots, the 3rd will put it in a kettle for boiling, the fourth will put the special sauce and the 5th will do the cooking. Probably the "do the cooking" be the senior author for this is more work and most likely the final product after the 6th month of assignment (usually the duration that a research assistant/associate/researcher must produce results otherwise he/she will be fired). But well - all are co- authors... the principal investigator is considered to be an expert in all because he oversees it. But the problem, once you put one of these co authors to make quite a similar project holistically, he/she can't do it because ..... of what is written above. This is a problem of ISI publications involving team work but each phase of work is really important in research especially in molecular biology.

It was just the trainee's sole name that towers. I think the paper was retracted successfully.

Associate collaborative genes for a phenotype
Some are looking for a gene directly like the gene for ...? but this gene if it is there as what I mentioned is plastic (see my article/statement above), it may or may not thoroughly express continuously or occasionally or would even be stagnant abruptly due to the overpowering work of the associate collaborative genes + environment. Some donot have a direct gene equivalent and its expression is due to ACG. I think it's high time to look for ACG especially when it comes to behavioral phenotypes.

Supporting UCLA's microbiology dept. statement that a "cell is an organism" (please see my statement above in the Epigenetic's article) but this is just one of the reasons there may be other interpretations- How these four genes ( considered as Yamanaka's factors) make a fibroblast cell pluripotent to become an embryonic cell. Read more on these four genes- Oct3/4, KIf4, Sox2, and c-Myc

Am just wondering how the Yamanaka 's factors can be the answer for reversing old towards Youthful skin looks (as wished online). Make the cell culture extracts a face wash? Not transplants (after apoptosis) Remember it develops the three embryonic derivatives.. ectoderm etc. Or arrest it somewhere and develop an immortal youthful cell line ready for transplant. Guessing game.. But for the secret of long life I think it is the trouble shooting of the plasticity of genes... including the application of epigenetic cure.

Molecular Nutrition- this field has been missed out in my discussions but I had taken graduate subjects on this a long time ago.. What you eat is what you are! If you eat an excess, you suffer the consequences. My article above on cellular moderation also applies to this.. How about treating these foods that we eat as ... "supplementary medicines" or "medicines"? Vitamins, Essential amino acids , Co- enzymes, co- factors, etc, energy sources of foods ( plain carbohydrates, gluconeogenetic sources), physiological enzymes, etc. Not to forget the "wonderful world of proteins." Toxic proteins in human bodies, toxic proteins in our diet, .. the antibodies , etc.and Robertis et al.. will tell you the many types of proteins in existence. These are essentials for life (not the toxic ones) and must be taken in properly for the best of health.. How about if the food has a toxic component... The Burnt in burnt food cause cancer and some ingredients in cheap foods also have toxic components and they are on sale sometimes. If one is not cautious, then possibilities of diseases soon will occur like cancer....Even one is hungry be cautious of what you eat.. Without proper check, people will be eating* like "mad cows"
*outcome: proper molecular configuration and type of cooked protein for a healthy meal

On Allergens- Cellular moderation or no exposure to this at all is a must. This could be cellularly/molecularly moderated especially in places of its existence by wearing a mask..(as case maybe).

Are cellular/molecular laws applicable for threatening situations such as in foods and pollution as well as the process of making it? I think humans are becoming smarter with the outcome of molecular sciences, Then why don't act now! Food Labels must not only include to what its components are, whether GMO or not but also its molecular and cellular fate... To give a point of view on this-- It's like asking a candidate medical student for entry a question such as .. "Calcium is in your food, once you start chewing the food for digestion, what is its molecular and cellular fate? Explain exhaustively." Bad/Good effects of exhaustively researched components of your food on sale must be advised on its label for public exposure. It's like medicine with its inserts but inserts are seldom read better put the most important information on labels.

New DNA structure in living cell
It's not just the proteins that fold into different tertiary or quartenary, etc structures but also the DNA... But in the DNA there is a mismatching of nitrogeneous bases...but still the fold goes on...
Is this the real DNA that just folded, a chromosomal DNA subtype or an Extrachromosomal one? The latter is the wildest ? of all.

Lichen transplanting mania
-Why do you have to transplant a lichen in a polluted area when it is not a natural component of the polluted area or it fails to grow naturally in that polluted area? How do you relate this ecologically especially in the lichen itself? Call it as a bioindicator? In this case any lichen can be a bioindicator?
Being not a pollution tolerant resident, no long term studies can be undertaken and it will just act as a temporary filter for aerial pollutants.

In my April 2018 quote (published in Phil. Myxomycetes page), I could have said (in humans) "Sexual Organs and its 'associates' are just accessory to Gender" not the vice versa as written there. But I think it is just the same. In the last statement which states "Gender is being dictated somewhere else", I think in accurate fits this is not wholly but the word "accessory" is enough in case it partakes.

New Chapter- Near approaching retirement Activities and so Forth-
Just a mere matter of an opinion---
Pre- retirement, I always tell my scientists friends to do something that at least they can leave a "print" in this world- let themselves be positively known if possible worldwide... rather than to egress later with their lifetime memories enclosed or limited only within the four walls of their room (their offices specifically). Have you seen the world over? Get out of your common nooks and be a part of a larger crowd, different nationalities and cultures and be acquaintances and friends with each other. And show the world a proof where they become known or famous in a friendly capacity. How many items do you have at Google Scholar? Retirement is more an outlook for health. No time to start (unless you are a mom whose daughter married a royalty- but direct points are for the daughter not the mom or you want to delegate/build your "being famous" to slave-followers- hope it's not the "emperor's new clothes" saga..) but a real output of what you are. Therefore what have you?

No Mangrove Paper -
Last time, I was discussing with a wetland scientist from the USA regarding the liverworts. And later she attached her new publication where in a liverwort is one of the biological factors involve in the transformation of a wetland to a farmland (?) [ I am just recalling.?] This has pulled my attention to our massive mangrove reforestation but there is no study in the successive developmental transformation involving the physical (soil, water, etc) , chemical and biological factors (organisms, etc) from the start of the reforestation until it is reforested.
Why is this important? In case the once- mangrove- rich- area could no longer support mangrove growth, this study could serve as a baseline of how to overhaul the area so it could not become a wasteland and could be secondarily reforested. Or a wasteland to be reforested with mangroves. Don't wait for the last minute.
*The publications of Robin Lewis, III can shed light on this for a specific area/country rehabilitation of mangroves. Robin (?) as far as I can remember was kind enough to get my photo at the Czech post SWS Board meeting (as shown above) and was important for my supposedly 15 day training in mangroves in India but I did not push through (I had to cancel it). The Indian mangrove specialist together with the agency involved who managed this, I am sorry for that and the last time I knew about this training- project, it was already transferred to a place in Africa.

ISSUES with ISMCBBPR - (This is already listed in the Research Gate. I have no idea what's in it for I do not have a research gate password.. and
Using ISMCBBPR as an affiliation or even as a member (one instance seen online) needs further inspection and verification- I have no idea, probably you are one of the authors of the nominated molecule (I haven't reviewed this yet) but for the winners, I could not see your name as co- author there and for membership- basically this is to the strictest sense. Sorry if I misunderstand you but I really have no idea as of now...Membership to ISMCBBPR or the International Society for Molecular and Cell Biology and Biotech Prots and Research as written in Research Gate must be approved by me. You might have applied but, it was not approved so please don't use ISMCBBPR as your society membership. Search Research Gate for this issue.
Why the strictest sense? In the early years of this organization, I was lax in giving free membership to academically and intellectually qualified people. And when I made contact with these members, I could no longer reach them and they made use of the society membership to work abroad in US Universities without giving back to the organization. Therefore membership issuance of ISMCBBPR is cancelled indefinitely. At present, Qualifications will include scientific service to this organization for years before membership will be given. ASCB membership is very difficult to attain much more with ISMCBBPR.

Wildlife Life
~I remembered I was invited for a motor boat cruise in an African river and at the same time get a view of those migratory birds. And I said "no". The hippo/rhino trespassing the sorghum plantation across the river from a small safari park during the night was a stern warning for someone who can't run very fast. But later I had a taste of the roasted duck. Considering that "neophytes" are still becoming victims of these types of wild life (recently in Kenya) especially when they did their photo shoot, I would rather dwell with less dangerous animals. Am thinking of making a small society on the "Amicable (Approachable, less dangerous) Wildlife Society for Scientific Research." But how about if one documents an amicable wild organism and at one's back is a lion. It still spells the same conditions. Lions are second to hyena as top predator accdg to Botswana Guide to Wild Life. Don't be a "neophyte" when dealing with wildlife for your scientific research.

Meteorological Expansion of terminologies
1. There is such thing as tropical depression until it becomes a strong typhoon- of course this is wind+ rain.
2. There is solely wind so it's hurricane intensity.
3. But there is nothing to gauge rain alone. The wind is nil in influencing the fast flow/ removal of the rain forming clouds. Therefore there are situations that rain will stand still in a place for long. Considering that this is a common phenomenon this will be given some sort of ranges or values and with our gis and mapping, those places experiencing it will be identified and be used as a bases of disturbance inflicting the person involved.
4. Flood intensity too
Hope this opinion of mine could help.

Sex and Gender- Sex is either male or female- chromosomally or where's it? while gender has something to do with the sexual interest of the individual artificially or naturally manipulative. In governmental or societal definition gender is defined as sex complying to a "true" male or "true" female outfit thus heterosexuals likely but this is rather a limited scope and waste of ........ If you want a limited scope it is much better to use: Men and Women in the Society and Culture and do away with gender. Gender is a sensitive term.

Caviar is fishery related. Caviar are eggs from the sturgeon family of fishes (as far as I know). What is the most expensive?
From Google: The most expensive of all caviar, and indeed the world's most expensive food is 'Almas', from the Iranian Beluga fish - 1 kg (2 lb 3 oz) of this 'black gold' is regularly sold for £20,000 (then $34,500).
From Google and Quora Answers:
Is caviar tasty? Kinda salty and fishy. Really good caviar tastes less salty (which means it must be very, very fresh, because it spoils easily). The really distinctive aspect of caviar is more about its texture. The eggs pop on your tongue, and the rich, slightly sweet taste oozes into your mouth and the flavor fills your nose.

Can mineral plastic bottles allow the growth of freshwater microscopic/macroscopic algae in semi anaerobic conditions (moderately loosened cap of the mineral plastic bottle) similarly as those growing in natural concrete freshwater ponds?
The answer is YES. (please see the photo of this freshwater alga growing in the pond substrates (algal scrapings/algae) in a mineral plastic bottle in the above item with the title- New specimens.) This mineral bottle was one of those bottles containing water and scraped specimens from concrete freshwater ponds in the Limnology lab. used by undergraduate students year(s) ago. The caps were moderately loosened but these mineral bottles are situated in quite a hot room surrounded by transparent glasses (walls and windows all) around and are two meters away from the glass windows. Therefore not directly exposed to the sunlight. No aeration is provided only these natural conditions as mentioned. A faculty said it's like a decor in a cake.
In another bottle, "rounded" green microscopic algae were seen clinging in its undersides which make isolation easier.
A very cheap but successful instructional material.

IN DEFENSE OF MOLECULAR SOCIOLOGY and PHILOSOPHY
Philosophical and Sociological Studies without the genetic, molecular and cellular bearings or support are never scientific. They are just guesses or hypotheses, products of sensual observations and surveys, dependent on the ficklemindedness of the respondents and shamefully, such researches are considered for the highest achievement. They are phenotypes, phenotypes,
phenotypes.... without the genes, cells and molecules with their respective environmental interactions, importantly, responsible for the production of such phenotypes. 5/2007 ~I. Savillo
___________________________
Simplifying the complex human being is easy. Personalized Medicine will come in by Genetic and Epigenetic analysis. Plus a more rigorous analyses of Gene and Environmental Interactions. Having these in the table this could serve as an Environment -DNA blueprint for a particular individual/organism and will soon be easier to know the holistic phenotype of the person.
The mechanisms of environmental influences could stop, modify, passively allow , change the course of , etc., genetic expressions. In any phenotype produced , it is advisable to know the specific environmental factors (e.g. common and exotic ones) responsible for these changes to occur. This will lead to a more comprehensive understanding of the acquisition and progressive development of a phenotype in an individual and likewise, this would pave way to the meticulous characterization (e.g. molecular, environmental, etc.) of the phenotype in question.
-I. Savillo 2003. (The Role of the Environment.....)

All studies and knowledge are in the realm of fashion because they change and some of them are unfounded as to the whims of the society/country but not true science.
What does this mean? For instance the definition of sex per country may differ... therefore whatever definition is prevalent then that is the fashion statement for sex. Example- A country favors civil relationship (with benefits) to same sex couples now it includes heterosexuals. [I definitely salute this guy... who said that the definition of sex is continuously being worked upon....that is why there is quite an un-ending definition of it.] How about true science like Oxygen for instance... one could not trim this tease it to make it appear much better for breathing purposes... More on Fashion statements- please see article above on FS:
An addendum to FS is a word 'Scholar' and a Favoring table for grades. How would the foreign clients look into this? They need to triple their standards in terms of employment and real scholarships. Or extrapolate the real grade leading to a roundabout procedure which is nasty and a waste of time. Free tuition per se is not scholarship per se. I think this is a challenge to accredited transcript evaluators pertaining to foreign transcipts regarding grade fabrications circa 2000.

Not New
Free tuition has been existing in some countries usually the elementary and high school as well as family or individual benefits/dole outs. Only that there is not much discussion regarding the social studies of other countries.

______________
Having written articles on the effects of the environment to gene expression, I coined a term known as the "environment-DNA blue print." With the flow of new knowledge brought about by molecular and cell biology, it is a must that changes or modifications will occur to satisfy ones scientific query. Environment- DNA blueprint is described above.
------
In 2010, I wrote an article on climate change and this caused some issues: uproar and favors. I can see how an adviser used some of my ideas in his premise. A colleague at Prague told me in person that the error (climate change calculation) had been corrected. This article of mine was included in carboncapture.org of the University of Illinois thus it has a worldwide audience. Considering that what is an excess (like carbon dioxide) therefore it has to be contained as what is stated in the current research agenda (for carbon dioxide) of NAS (pls see above) and what is deficient or less has to be provided. The latter's example is our drinking water. There are no more easily reached natural sources so the drinking water is bottled for sale. I remembered I talked about this (Water) in the Indian magazine - Green interpreters. But I think if we could help reduce the excesses and provide the deficient or less in our own ways (stop generating bon fires and avoid contaminating water sources, respectively) this could lessen the pressure in such technologies. Some of them are very expensive. Do you want to breath bottled oxygen in the future?

_______
It's time to explore the human being's integrated cellular-molecular biochemical pathways..
If you have seen Bruce Albert's (et al) book the Molecular Biology of the Cell you can see in a page a colored outline of the integrating/interacting biochemical pathways of the molecules in the cell and outside of it. Then why not "apply" this to human beings individually? Make a cellular- molecular biochemical spread per individual so one knows where to shoot it. Point out the normal and the abnormal ones. Cellular expressions may vary thus making some sort of "kinks" in the pathway... As what I said in my "Cellular versus Organismal" article above, Cellular expression is "honest" ("cellular psychology") but once all these cellular expressions come together to create its "organismal" signature, It is sometimes not what is expected. I think this (making spreads) is important for curing diseases of all sorts.

2019 pledges- Start pressure cook my rice (to remove the lectin component). In this world of glamorous foods, the human body's health is deteriorating. Especially the daily pain of inflammation. Therefore take food as well as process it to get rid of this pain. Go organic leafy. No insecticides with it. Remembering a post from a UPDil student making comments to my UPDil mentor who was under her in a Bio 1 class that they were told to eat grass. And with the recent knowledge that I took especially from this student at JHU (Public Health) Baltimore that my Former UPD prof is right. She is now retired. Well grass refers to green leafy raw vegetables. You know what I mean. I'd been talking about this in my previous article on Molecular Nutrition and on Lectins. I am not really interested in lectin use in experiments but its ability to whack the body is a big concern. Eat wisely what food to gobble.

Can we just say "infectious" "post translated" genes? On Phage cocktails
Phages are specifics for particular bacteria. I had a graduate student presenting a 2017 paper on phages for a bacterium kill (P. larvae) that infest honeybees and through Time mag. 2018 I was surprised to know that this is applicable/effective somehow to antibiotic resisting bacteria or super antibiotic resistant ones killing humans. Then it comes to my mind- why not a virus killing another virus. There is a scientist working on it... It could kill a % of HIV in vitro but still quite a long way to go. How about the other way around? Bac versus Virus. And trying all the other microbes ...they could "clash their horns"... just like in an arena... having a winner and a looser at the end.

Hardiness and Resilience* Ecological terminologies--
Hardiness is a pattern of attitudes and skills that provides the courage and strategies to turn stressful circumstances from potential disasters into growth opportunities instead (Maddi, 2007). Similarly, resilience is defined as the 'positive psychological capacity to rebound, to "bounce back" from adversity, uncertainty, conflict, failure, or even positive change, progress and increased responsibility' (Luthans, 2002, p. 702).

Sustainable Wetlands (Advanced World Wetlands Day Celebration for this new finding)
A continous outpouring of clean water from ground below has been discussed currently and an ancient water tank was made a long time ago on its location.[Photos in Facebook were provided]. Some says the tank was established during the time of the Japanese occupation?? The water tank received the water from below ground and has an iron tube or a "spout tube" for its outlet where the stored water can flow out once a particular level has been reached. In its surroundings are small pools where pushed/implanted iron tubes? are present and clean water will gush out from below... This has been a source of clean water in this community for years... And as what I said in my preface- "Some have witnessed historical turnovers like the antique reservoirs or tanks". Read my preface here.
Question: What is the name of this place?
Hint: It is located in a mountain of a town in the Northern province of Iloilo.

Is my statement the first? (with emphasis to behavioral phenotypes)(please see article above on this)
Science Mag of AAAS recently published about genetic markers for same sex 2019 study considered as Giant Analysis (GWAS) by Andrea Ganna and group. In my article above (scroll above to see the article) I stated that "Some do not have a direct gene equivalent and its expression is due to ACG*". Though mine does not directly point to their study in same sex behavior it embodies their finding as to my statement.

I think more researches are needed for a) unaltered environmental dormancy or the natural dormancy of single species of lower forms of organisms such as liverworts**, myxomycetes* (these two I had observed their disappearances after very robust growth- quantity wise) and b) altered environmental dormany of single species of the aforementioned or if one could add more single species like that of a lichen the better. I think these lower forms are very much sensitive to the environment that operate their reproductive cycles.

I need a Life.. (common expression) and the "trend" of Living
Is minimalism a comfort in life? As to current articles online, the millineals are now moving toward minimalism. Probably one of the reasons here is what this PhD from Sweden in her dissertation (please see above) wherein she stated in her introduction something about an alternative to an unhealthy matter and it turned out to be unhealthy itself. It is a mask. I think minimalism is a creative ambient way of thinking. It's life in its simplicity whatever is the economic status. I have read how Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein etc. practise Minimalism. Scout for the article and probably find an enlightenment.

Emotions and Evolution
Emotions are ought to be understood and analyzed.... If it is funneled correctly the better otherwise if it is just a chaff and would never substantiate anything...better not possess it....
I just read an article about emotional marketing... and the basis of this is how to sell a product through the emotional constituent of the customer... Finding a way of enticing the customer whether this may be a product of different emotional spectra like the emotional spectra of a customer.
Paraphrases of some statements include: if the customer is sad, it is advisable to sell a product that threads in sadness like sad music because mournful song replaces the empathetic friend. Or if the customer seems to be enjoying then it is correct to offer items like a self gift (if he/she was praised or received plaudits etc.) or a vacation trip. Expenses may not be an issue here because to be sitting in the beach is the option of importance. If one is certain about his/her emotions, thinking about it is no longer an option but when one is uncertain about his/her emotional output there is a need for a complete scrutiny. Regarding the need to be jealous, I was laughing while reading: males need to be jealous for female infidelity because it lowers their capacity for reproduction while females' jealousy toward male infidelity lowers their likelihood of acquiring resources. It also says that humans feel emotions because of bodily adaptations and social adaptations. Like for instance in small canteens in the US Universities, one need to ask permission to share a table with while in large canteens where clients are medical interns, scientists, etc., I think everyone is so tired to deal with this issue for time is precious besides there are so many tables to sit in. It's eating and leaving as quickly as possible. Likewise in European universities, there is a canteen for professors, scientists, researchers, scholars and of course, we banded together to go to this place and sometimes we left the place on our own as well as canteen for students, yes, it's big place. Everyone wants a fill and food is sold in an organized and quick way. Getting a whole picture of it, there are rules and proper emotions to deal with. Does culture play a part? Similar in terms of occupations or degrees or social status or intellectual capacities seems to be the binding factor and where the rules are based. In private restaurants, sharing sometimes is not an option but to wait for an empty table is a must . I am continously reading about emotions and trying to rationalize it especially that it is very much associated with evolution.
...... At the end (as a whole at that instance), having all those emotional valences in place, what evolutionary hierarchy as a Homo sapiens one could have had reached? Or how Homo sapiens is he or she now? Is the Homo sapiens starting to evolve into something?

2019 HIV News.. Interesting for analysis....-
* This is an interesting find but CTL killing of CDT4 cells (these are important cells of the Immune system) is something to think about... If it is only the target (in/on the CD4 T cell) or the whole cell itself may make a differen ce. Doing this en masse what will happen to the CD4Ts ? Are the CD4Ts even with HIV latency still functioning? I think the turnover (of the uninfected CD4Ts) has to be considered.

Graduate Students Reminder
-Current Papers are in this area so please Differentiate between Immunotherapy and Gene Therapy and not to mix them in discussions
-A gene that has been bioengineered does not carry the nomenclature of the type of stem cell being used for transplantation; there is no such thing as an allogene/
-A bioengineered gene will have a protein product that serves a unique purpose or function not necessarily proteins commonly formed by Recom DNA or alter the normal function of the organism's genetic code such as transgene (germ line existence). Bioengineering stands by itself as a method of activating cells for therapeutic purposes... like in Immunotherapy.
- the use of autologous and allogeneic is not only limited to immunotherapy but there are terms such as autologous gene therapy.

Scientific Testing starts with rats, mice or rabbits...[I was once invited by my US Prof. to generate MABS on rabbits]... after which Humans who need it.. it's the clinical aspect but currently there is such a thing as self testing.. because of the love for Genetic Engineering. (Pls. refer to Leapsmag online. Jan 2018 article that states "Genetic Engineering is the last frontier of Human Freedom". This is an Opinion Essay). Nevertheless, currently a publication from the University of Alberta that the DNA is not your destiny or a good predictor of your health came out. Instead, the essential factors mentioned include measuring metabolites, microbes and proteins and not the genes . In my above posted articles I wrote about the need of proper/correct and essential Molecular Nutrition/Proteins/Metabolites for our health.

Live it up WBC! (See this statement in the above article) I wrote about the potential of the WBC to fight it off and that is true... It could fight and kill even the tumor cells though its life span is short. I wrote about ways that this could be strengthened by epigenetic as well using post translational processes and so on. (see above). There are hindrances to this capacity of the WBC and that is why there are new ways of getting rid of these barriers: ICI, the formation of DAMP and so on. They are focusing on combined therapies so the "exhausted" WBC could be helped. But beware there are cells immunity wise (depending in the conditions and types) sometimes do the opposite that is the problem with their dichotomous roles. But without these hindrances WBC is a fighter!
** Biological Evolution of Immune Cells - evolution of WBC may entail additional cellular and molecular functions such as CD4Tcell (University College London 2020) from being a helper and regulatory cell to a cytotoxic killer cell.

Thinking Twice-
Clinical trials- can it cross geographically especially for those who can't afford to buy them later as medicines? Think of the MABs used for ICI they are very expensive. I know that clinical trials must not only include specific population of people but other peoples in other areas as well so the specificity and sensitivity of these medicines (may come in whatever forms) be determined/assured before they can be considered as "universally" prescribed and government approved medicines. I've read about therapeutic items that could not work in Africa because of cross reactivity with other microbes.. etc.

Writers and Nature/Nature Re-examined
-I spent time reading the biographies of famous poets. They have particular reasons to write and how they devoted themselves in it. A greater part of their writings is bundled in natural influence. Yes nature is very much a component of us...Can one just "stand alone" without the natural elements stirring the senses ? In your room, by just listening to the Passer montanus (a common tropical homely bird in the Philippines) is enough to satiate your day. They communicate, skip in speed in window ledges and make sounds of their picking bills when they have to catch an insect- food... After the bombastic sounds of New Year celebration, their presence the next day is nil or rare. But for sure, they will then be back to congregate. Unlike, alleged reports that some birds in other countries die due to hoarse surprising "sounds", they fairly surpass this as a form of stress.
-----------------------------
I've read that 2019 is considered as the Year for Gene therapy and to welcome it's important molecular constituent the CRISPR (formally known as the CRISPR-Cas9)
In my previous article above, I wrote about the numerous publications involving CRISPR but I really donot have much time to make a thorough review of it. [But I will soon: Wang et al, 2019 downloaded] I think those articles involve animal trials. But this time, CRISPR is now entering the clinical trial arena. I hope this will spark success. I am just recalling reviews regarding the clinical trials of Immunotherapy.
What is CRISPR- Cas 9? (definition taken from Discovermagazine dated January 1, 2020)- (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) therefore a genetic code consisting of an RNA strand and this comes with an enzyme known as Cas9, that functions like a molecular scissor that can cut and remove specific genes. By doing so, the removal of a "defective" gene is viable and subsequently a gene which is functional could now take its place.

Mitotic Relevance
When it comes to Gene therapy*, only a portion of cells experimented or utilized can avail of this procedure and the main bulk of cells cannot be corrected unless if I miss it there is some technique that could do as much as gene splicing of the target defective genes in tissues**. While in Immunotherapy, the target is quite contained unless as in the case of cancer, the tumor cells have not spread. Once the expression of defective genes exists plus expression of those cells which carry the normal genes after genetic transplantation, what would be the resulting effect?

On Cancer and UK's proposed Complex Innovative Design (CID) Trials- This is to overhaul the usual common clinical trials where in it will include multiple issues regarding the new drugs to be tested and more involvement of patients*. *Extensive clinical trials of individuals living in different geographical areas which I said in my above article could be of help and of course scientific participation of volunteers in each trial involving specific needs (e.g. kind of cancer) so as to rule out or zero in to the trial being undertaken. The goal here is to reduce the time of approval of new treatments so they could be made available to patients in a faster manner.
*New cancer drugs could be made available faster following clinical trial reform by Shaun Lintern. Published in Independent.co.uk. January 06, 2020.
---------------
In my above article, I examined a publication regarding "exposing HIV hiding in CD4T cells". Kick and Kill approach is being rendered here. It involves engineered cells that are able to “kick” HIV out of hiding and also activate the expansion of HIV-specific CD8+ T cells (CTL) capable of killing the exposed HIV. The researchers are pursuing funding for clinical trials to test MDc1 in humans with the goal of "HIV cure." Here is quite a similar paper which deals in "smoking out HIV dormancy" in CD4T cells.
A 2020 Norwegian University paper talked about "smoking out" HIV dormancy in CD4T cells. Accordingly, there are possibilities about HIV not capable of infecting the CD4T because there is a mechanism that involves a lock- key grip, e.g. ligand interaction (probably another way besides CCR5 ?? for CCR5 is not mentioned). Therefore the HIV can get trapped in the endosome of the uninfected CD4T and HIV is destroyed producing HIV fragments that will activate the TLR8, a component of an innate system that is found on the T cell, the latter being a part of adaptive immunity. Subsequently, the cytokines produced after TLR8 received the stimulus will influence the replication of the dormant HIV in the uninfected cell likewise in infected cells. Thus, the dormant HIV is activated. But I am just wondering when there are numerous replicates/virions of the HIV as a result of the activation of uninfected T cell with the endosomal HIV and the infected T cells, then what happens next? What will eliminate them in the field?
It is expected that there will be vigorous killing as well as the paper says "curing HIV" but I hope that the elimination process will thoroughly be a success.
____________
Trained Immunity (TI) (M.G. Netea) is defined as the ability of the innate immune system to possess the immune memory and this involve the epigenetic programming* of myeloid lineage cells (WBC- macrophage (monocytes), etc.) that will result in changes in their metabolic and phenotypical behavior resulting to a stronger immune response to a secondary stimuli.
In my above articles in fact, one of my earliest titled: Epigenetics* Theory on WBC. I stated these statements referring to strengthening the WBC:
" It could be a post translational scheme of the epigenetic* factors (like the histone). Or it could be done during the translational processes. It could be a participatory of an external/neighboring gene and/or a non- genetic factor (in the environment)".

In my above articles I wrote about the storm paths in the Visayas region. Was it the year 2018 that there was no powerful storm during Nov./Dec.? But 2019 was not spared. I had compared this to the hurricane paths in Southern USA. Louisiana is a very nice place minus the flood with her parishes and wetlands. But they (with Texas etc.) have their own way of bolstering their homes from the storm. I was able to read how the Vietnamese construct their storm proof house especially that they live in storm paths. This was a project of UNDP and other philanthropic organizations and the specification for house structure and construction must follow the UNDP guidelines. There are braces on the roof, two storey house with upper floor wide window as escape route etc. Read more on this online.

*^Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) inside some tumors- are full of B cells and are dubbed as "learning centers" for these cells to be educated so as to effectively learn to recognize and attack cancer cells. ...... These 3 studies show exciting data demonstrating that B cells which make antibodies significantly influence the responsiveness of patients with certain cancers to immunotherapy.
*Scientists find immune cells that fight tumours from within- article from Bangkok.post 16th of Jan., 2020
In my article above- I posted an earlier statement about "antibodies against cancer" ... here is a portion of it... "I have read antibodies directed towards op (oncogenetic proteins) .... but i think it was just for characterization... Antigens for op need to be conserved..... and probably it could be lysed later by something which eventually works like a vaccine. It's high time to think about it." or the B cells in the TLS (Tertiary lymphoid structures^) can assume a different role and this belongs to the category- Introduction of the Biological Evolution of Immune cells (pls. see Discoveries sub page ) or both are possible.
One of the possibilities here is the natural equivalent of the "man's guided" MABs production toward the ICI where the T cells could have access to tumor cells where then it can kill the latter. But the question here is... Does the antibodies produced be able to reach as far as the ICI considering the B cells location within the tumor? How about the processing of antibodies?

Zoonoses and a veterinary clean up
~I am just wondering what happened to the zoonotic society based in Europe where I was a member. Agricultural wise or even involving domestic pets, these need to be free from various pathogenic organisms...they could be carriers or the disease causing ones. They could be animals in large scale or small scale but for pets one is much better than two. Trained to be solely within the premises not to be out in the road or commune with other stray dogs. Also to have a look out for wild animals like bats or strange/new birds in the vicinity. And for travelers or for those who were out of the country for a long time, one can be a reservoir of the other types of new pathogens even new forms of allergenic reactions (The latter statement may not be purely zoonotic) or one goes forest hopping especially if it is rich in carriers for transmission. And of course these herded animals ought to have nutritious foods to fight off diseases. In fact they can even take care of themselves just like the wild Virginian opposum. In this manner, at the very start, zoonotic transmission of viruses etc, can be alleviated. As cliche as this statement is but ought to be repeated: Once they favorably transfer to humans as their new host, as new pathogens the bodies still have to produce the necessary defensive cells to get rid of them. This takes time or sometimes time is quite long for the making of desirable antibodies/cells and the result is catastrophic. Ebola is one example.

Cardiff University Study Jan. 20, 2020. BBC News:
A T cell has been claimed to treat all cancers (lung, skin, blood, colon, breast, prostate, ovarian, kidney and cervical cancer) if harnessed. It has a receptor that interacts with a molecule called MR1 that is present on the surface of every cell. MR1 is thought to give a signal to the immune system regarding the peculiar metabolic activities of tumor cells. Therefore This T cell can find this MR1 and in process subsequently kill these cancerous cells in the lab.
As the President of ISMCBBPR and one of the Voters for the Molecule of the year, I am very much doing in depth analyses of the publications/news item of recent findings. Which of the findings are near reality? There are always promises but we (as Voters) want something in a split of a second something that is successful (in treating diseases such as cancer) realistically.

ISMCBBPR Molecule of the Year Rigid Criteria
The MOY of ISMCBBPR are all promising and utilizable molecules for research and for therapeutic purposes and most as far as I remember are basic. But our next batch of nominees will be based strictly in the results of animal and clinical trials in replicates. We want to award molecules that are about to be utilized for the human/organisms need that with only a little refinement of the Molecule or its target there is a certainty of success (in replicates). A lot of Molecules with different titles are sprouting out and we want to be different. I have been reading a lot of publications in oncogenic animal and clinical trials. Molecular Synchronization
Time I think has a general rule in modifying some DNA expression that could be universal in some species like for instance in terms of infection it could either remain dormant rather than infectious or will exhibit infectious gene disintegration or strain conversion exhibiting pathogenicity of some sort. This could be applicable to all of the same species or strain that have existed within the similar kind of organism as its host. In higher organisms this could be observed as "natural" death of flock/group of the same species in a particular time as one but its applicability is much reduced the higher the complexity of the organism.

Besides, probes and primers for the virus are now available for vaccine development.
