Autumn in New Jersey.  It's so cold but I still preferred to wear long sleeves and a shirt, both made of cotton. I have a shivering look (see picture below) and  far from my back, there's  a wetland [I think it's a river's end or a huge pond (just recalling)].

Is the "autumn shiver", a physical aspect alone and does not involve the nasty feelings? No, If you remember, there was this mini love story (typically with autumnal echoes) portrayed in a song that has been embraced by so many. And it seems like a "biography" of some sort by patching up the pieces [true to life with the lyrics]. This link* provides the story and music. UPCAT is back to life!

June 3-4, 2023 -for  UPCAT 2024. Wishing everyone the best!

Sorry, I wasn't able to read this before the UPCAT exams but these are stories of UPCAT takers in the past, esp. in videos/tiktok. Why is this undergrad important because it polishes you wholesomely to meet life in all of its angles not only in the academe but also in other matters and how you stand to deal with it in this world.  What am I saying? I think you may have your own version... especially once you are in, experienced it and graduated. Another stuff, my student number starts with a 77 and I can no longer remember {UPCAT exp.} I hope you can share yours too.  I know that this is still based upon a statement of the "survival for the fittest", therefore you can crack the food whatever you want rather than eat a soft sandwich. Who cares about food disturbance! Memoirs of my New York trip, and my stay  at Islip,  Long Island, NY.  

Taken from my FB:  "I disembarked at JFK from Wisconsin {My relatives and the host's son fetched me at the airport}. We (with my relatives) took a ride in the car of the host (son was driving) to ISLIP.  It was a nice memory but the funny thing I was querying where "NY" was and they said, "It's the Long Island I was in" and the next days when we took the train, we were all bound to Manhattan. Thanks again to the ISLIP hosts. — feeling very  thankful.  Some Photos below.

Sometimes the bucket is full of realistic "lists" and you need to start working on it one by one and even simultaneously.  As far as I remember, a Prof. of mine at UPV once said [that something like] "a single turn of the brain (tissue)[in coils, I suppose] is equivalent to a library of books".  So I really don't believe in a single mode, absorb and learn knowledge with the liberal context. That's why Harvard is offering other subjects online even for free. As an add on.

You can still continue, what's realized in your bucket list.  But see to it that you are feeling right. Even at 60's. Berlin shirt  I was wearing, I think was bought at  Checkpoint Charlie- I was in a DAAD scholarship in Berlin.

I was thinking that  the College of Music UP Diliman will soon have a Basso, Basse or a Bassus  vocalize a tune that emanates from the college at an early morning or ?  where? the church? Here is a compilation of this type as participants in the blind audition. Not blind per se but this is  it.

India and Me

More about India and me [continuation from above]... With this book in Biorights [please see below](met SAFE President, at the Cairns Convention, see photo in previous page), I was able to publish a short article about how mangrove forests [how extensive are these] can have an economic importance to the people around and at the same time, being taken cared of.  Mangroves are non fastidious. They can survive that well if they come with age [This paper was partly taken from my oral presentation at the Society of Wetland Scientists Meeting at Washington, D.C., U.S. ]. It was "shooting two birds with one stone" when it comes to sustainability for both. Moreover, there are a lot of Indian scientists that published papers about Pyxine coces, the lichen which I [pioneering statement] considered important in detection of atmospheric pollution [please browse the former pages regarding this]. There are also a lot of wetland experts from India representing their specific geographical locations while I was the President of the Society of Wetland Scientists Asia Chapter [They kindly submitted their annual accomplishment reports and the problems to be solved to me. This was included in Asia's accomplishment report and submitted during the International Board Meeting of the Soc. of Wetland Scientists where I had attended] and last but not the least, the Indian Society of Cell biology President, granted me a Certificate of Appreciation regarding the ISMCBBPR and the awarding of the Molecule of the Year. The ISCB was very active in this major activity [of ISMCBBPR].  Thanks a lot for all of these!

To all Incoming  Freshies of UPCA  style (hurdling difficult exams in the future kasi indi kayo nakakuha ng T as an experience ..ok lang?) and successful UPCAT takers 2024-

This is the 8 pieces of advice for incoming freshies... it seems realistic... Abbrev.. used in comments by others below the linked article : FOP means Freshman Orientation Program and GC means Grade Conscious. For TBA- I think this is a common abbrev.  And Casaa nasunog nong 2015 so parang experience nya lang to. My roon pa ba? Maraming kumakain dyan when it was lunch time and one Sat., I saw a foreign celeb pumasok walang paki lahat ..
