At a Genetic Conference, UCLA Conf. Center, Lake Arrowhead

Very memorable times with my co- attendee.. . she took all of the photos here including the room I stayed - it's Holly and the squirrel. ..A great photographer and now a scientist at UCLA ... This is a "Twist (like a spinning top) and Climb to the summit drive" where the lake is ... It is here that I met the late Don Nierlich of the UCLA Microbiology Dept. and later I invited him to be one of the advisers of ISMCBBPR. Thanks to my colleague (co- attendee) and my professor for sending me here. To recall, I stayed with someone who is a relative of De Robertis- from Argentina. This was a congregation of scientists/professors/students at CalTech, UCLA and USC and similar campuses in Los Angeles. It was bit snowing at that time.
