Thailand have been audited under the IMO Member State Audit Scheme (IMSAS)
H.E. Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport, chaired ceremony opening on the IMO Member State Audit of Thailand on 20 February 2023, at Office of the Marine Department, Bangkok
Thailand had been audited under the voluntary IMO Member State Audit Scheme (VIMSAS) in 2007 and then was scheduled to be audited by a IMO Member State Audit Scheme (IMSAS) in 2021.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, Thailand IMSAS audit has been postponed and completed on 27 February 2023.
Thailand is currently in the process of implementing corrective plan and reporting the organization according to the audit framework requirements.
ประเทศไทยได้เข้ารับการตรวจสอบการปฏิบัติตามพันธกรณีภายใต้ตราสารอนุสัญญาด้านความปลอดภัยและการคุ้มครองสิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเลของ IMO เสร็จสิ้นลงเมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 ที่ผ่านมา ขณะนี้อยู่ระหว่างการนำเสนอแผนการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่อง (corrective action plan: CAP) ในบางประเด็นที่ต้องปรับปรุงแก้ไขในเรื่องการตรวจเรือ การจัดทำข้อตกลงกับองค์กรที่ได้รับการยอมรับ (RO) การสอบสวนอุบัติเหตุที่ยังไม่ดำเนินการให้แล้วเสร็จ และแผนการประสานงานการค้นหาช่วยเหลือเรือที่ประสบภัยกับเรือโดยสารที่เข้ามาในประเทศไทย โดยจะนำส่งแผน CAP และการดำเนินการแก้ไขตามกรอบเวลาและรายงานผลการดำเนินการให้ IMO ทราบในลำดับต่อไป
