The International Organizations and United Nations (IOUN) Sub-Division is responsible for following;

 (1)  to prepare a strategy  on cooperation and assistance with the  international organizations in field of transportation;

 (2)  to prepare a role and position of Thailand in the meetings of the international organizations in field of transportation; 

 (3)  to study, analyze, and presents views concerning the International Conventions under the responsibility of the Ministry of Transport of Thailand.

 (4) to coordinate with the international organizations and Thailand' s  related agencies in field of technical cooperation and assistance.

 (5)  to acts as a focal point and database center for international cooperation between Thailand and international organizations in  field of transportation.

 (6)  to cooperate with or support work of other related agencies.

ฝ่ายองค์การระหว่างประเทศและสหประชาชาติ  รับผิดชอบการดำเนินการดังนี้

(1)  จัดเตรียมยุทธศาสตร์ความร่วมมือและความช่วยเหลือกับองค์การระหว่างประเทศในด้านการขนส่ง

(2) จัดเตรียมบทบาทและท่าทีไทยในการประชุมขององค์การระหว่างประเทศในด้านการขนส่ง

(3) ศึกษา วิเคราะห์ และนำเสนอความเห็นเกี่ยวกับอนุสัญญาระหว่างประเทศที่อยู่ภายใต้ความรับผิดชอบของกระทรวงคมนาคม

(4) ประสานกับองค์การระหว่างประเทศและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของประเทศไทยในด้านความร่วมมือและความช่วยเหลือทางวิชาการ

(5) ทำหน้าที่ผู้ประสานงานและศูนย์ข้อมูลความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศระหว่างไทยกับองค์การระหว่างประเทศในด้านการขนส่ง

(ุ6) ให้ความร่วมมือและสนับสนุนงานของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง
