Web Evaluation Page

Overview

In this assignment, you will add:

• A Technology Page

• A Google Form subpage to the technology section

Objectives

After completing this assignment, you will be able to:

• create a new page

• change sharing settings on your Google Form

• add a subpage to your Technology page

• add a hyperlink to your technology page

• insert a Google Form from Google Forms

After you are done creating your Google Form, you will add a page to your Google Site.

Step 1: Create Your Two New Pages

Create a Technology Page

1. On a computer, open your portfolio in the new Google Sites.

2. Make sure you are on the home page

   1. At the right, click Pages.

3. Point to Add (plus sign at bottom of right panel) .

4. Click New page .

5. Enter the page name as "Technology".

6. Click Done.

Create a Web Evaluation Page

1. Make sure you are on the home page

   1. At the right, click Pages.

2. Point to Add (plus sign at bottom of right panel) .

3. Click New page .

4. Enter the page name as "Web Evaluation Form".

5. Click Done.

6. Move page so that it is a subpage of your technology page (See Site Navigation Job Aid for help)

Step 4: Edit Your Google Form Page

Add a Reflection

Insert a text box to write a reflection. Use the following questions to reflect on your learning for the assignment.

1. What did you like about this project?​

2. What are some other ways you will use Google Forms in your teaching practice? How could students use Google Forms?​

3. What would you do to improve how you ​learned and created this assignment (i.e.,​ if you had more time)?​

Step 5: Embed Form into Google Page

1. Open your portfolio in new Google Sites.

2. Navigate to your Web Evaluation Page

3. Click Insert

4. Scroll down to forms

5. Click Forms

6. Drag the form to the center, if desired.

Step 6: Copy URL for submission in Canvas (if required)

1. Copy URL for assignment submission

   1. Click the link icon

   2. Click Copy link button

2. Paste the URL in Cavas assignment
