Overview

In this assignment, you will introduce yourself to the class and learn about each other as a community of learners in an online discussion.

Images, especially images of yourself, can help other people feel more involved in online communication. It shows that you are a "real" person.

For example, have you noticed in the last few years the addition of an image icon in Blackboard, Google, Microsoft, emails, and more? This image allows you to put a picture of yourself into the digital tool so that your picture appears in any communications you have with others.

Create a digital image that will help us learn about you without words! Think about how you will communicate "visually" with your students, parents, and your peers.

Objectives

After completing this project, you will be able to:

• Download software to your computer

• Create, save and embed an image to a discussion post

• Write an effective discussion board post
