Liaisons for IFRT

IFRT Liaisons volunteer in accordance with the IFRT Bylaws to represent the interests of the Intellectual Freedom Round Table and communicate relevant issues. Liaisons are appointed by the IFRT Chair Elect to serve a one year term to begin at the close of Annual Conference or July 1.

  • Share updates to the IFRT executive board during meetings or on Connect

  • Represent the IFRT in discussions and share IFRT events and publications

  • Present other organizations with issues and documents upon which the IFRT executive board may wish to act

  • Speak up for intellectual freedom in proceedings when appropriate
