OVERVIEW

The project aim at increasing the level of physical activities of children with special needs in primary schools and inspire them with traditional European sports & games. The proportion of pupils with special needs (in special elementary schools) in relation to a whole generation of school pupils in European countries varies between 2,7–11,9 % (www.Eurydice.si, 2012).

Children with special needs often could not engage in many sports because of physical limitations. Professional experts in the present project’s consortium will identify and collect existing good practices and concepts in the field of innovative approaches addressing motivation’s pathways for children with special needs in sport and increase their inclusion in sport activities.
