This week I took over as art team lead as we began work on the second semester of grapple grub. We have created a miro mood board and are attempting to narrow down the artistic vision and overall tone of the world. I have created concept art exploring new variations of the grapple gun.
This week I worked on modeling the grapple and pulse gun.
This week I combined the grapple and pulse gun into 1 weapon for the player to use.
This week I redesigned the grapple gun/movement tool and created the prototype for a new grapple point model.
This week I continued to refine the grapple gun model to fit well with the robots arms correctly. I also have been iterating the grapple point designs. I will also start creating some materials for the world.
This week I finished the gun texture and created the color variations for the gun. I did more material work for the game.
This week I modeled and textured a fan to use in platforming. I also created the chevron material for the walls.
This week I modeled the main platform and smaller platforms. I created an upgrade station and a fountain.
This week I worked on creating a trim sheets for my buildings and did modeling work on the central platform.
This week I worked to create decor assets for the main platform, updated our concrete material, created megastructures to place outside the city and created a crate to hange from the cranes.
