For week 1 my main focus was this website! after settling for Google Sites, I put to use the previous teams sites as a guide line.
Week 2 was the major idea shift to the grappling game. This came not only with a website overhaul that I took care of, but with the GDD for our new game, which I expanded out from the one pager. Those documents were adapted and put onto the website.
Week 3 was Perforce week. I was in charge of setting up our Perforce and with some help from Drexel IT, we were able to get everyone added to the server. The program gave us endless issues, however. This was also the week where I implemented the bag throw and implemented assets from people who had issues accessing the project.
Week 4 was once again started with Perforce Issues. It would be later this week we dumped Perforce in favor of PlasticSCM. This week was also the first major content rework of the GDD, making sure the content reflected out flushed out ideas of what the level system was going to look like.
Week 5 was primarily a book keeping week. With a major website overhaul based on feedback from the production meeting, and another GDD sweep and format fixing, we had lots of time spend taking a harsh look at our concept. The later days of the week saw the loop of our game change, in which we move to a more arcade style to match the lighthearted nature of the project, which brought MORE GDD and website updates.
This week I continued to work on the documentation. More GDD updates, as well as putting together the scrum presentation. A lot of that came at the very end of the week, but we made sure everyone got their work in and it was shown off! Also this week I did some work on the sell presentation. It was already in the works, but I took it over and updated it to be more in line with our current direction of the game.
This week I began work on the asset renaming and redefining of the pipeline. The naming conventions and the Asset Management spreadsheet were both the first step, and so far, most of the art assets have been renamed. The week's work was concluded with the usual paperwork updates as well as the Scrum presentation and project compilation for the week.
This week I one again helped with the documentation for the project. That mainly consisted of the Scrum and first pass of the Final Sell Presentation. The other project I tackled this week was getting our shaders to work with the new textures for the buildings.
This week I worked on the revised sell presentation, as well as the scrum presentation. I also worked on getting some of the textures on he new buildings to look a little better.
This week I worked on the Final sell presentation and the scrum presentation for class. I also worked on getting a tutorial screen implemented over the start screen.
