Created basic systems and fishing minigame for project. I am happy with how clean the code base is.
Hard Pivot into a grapple game. I created a player controller and grappling mechanic for this week. Feels good but too floaty.
Added sliding and debug UI for the player so you can now control all of the variables. It is now less floaty and I think more interesting.
Less to do this week updated sliding so that you don't clip through the ground. Worked to get the entire team into Plastic SCM
I implemented a shader for multiple models. I created a system for delivering and picking up food. I also continue to do some minor movement tweaks.
This week I did some work on the systems for picking up and dropping off deliveries. I also created a new mode for the grapple that pulls the player to the point. I feel like this project is really starting to come together. I created a minimap so that players can know where they are in the city and where they need to go.
This week I did a UI overhaul. I decluttered a lot of the HUD and started work on the mid level upgrade screen. I also fixed a few long standing bugs with the player controller. Lastly I did some work to make the buildings look a bit better.
This week I created our mid level screen and implemented upgrades and money.
I was sick this week so sadly I did not get much done.
This week I did an overhaul of the bag throw converting it to a particle system. I also worked on a interaction system for the pick-up and drop-off of food. Finally I brought everything together and made sure it was all functioning correctly.
