The old, abandoned asylum had been closed for years, but the rumors about its haunted past still lingered. A group of teenagers dared each other to explore the asylum, to see if the rumors were true.
As they entered the decaying building, they felt a chill run down their spines. The walls were peeling, and the floorboards creaked underfoot. They made their way through the dark, eerie hallways, their flashlights illuminating the way.
As they reached the end of the hallway, they saw a figure in the distance. It was a woman, dressed in a white gown, her hair wild and unkempt. She stood perfectly still, staring at them with empty eyes.
The teenagers called out to her, but she didn't respond. They approached her cautiously, but as they got closer, they realized that something was wrong. Her skin was pale and mottled, and her eyes were completely white.
Suddenly, the woman began to float off the ground, her hair whipping around her face. The teenagers tried to run, but they were trapped. They were surrounded by ghostly apparitions, all dressed in white, their eyes staring blankly ahead.
The teenagers screamed in terror as the ghosts closed in around them. They tried to fight, but it was no use. They were surrounded by the spirits of the patients who had died in the asylum, all seeking revenge for the horrors that they had endured.
The teenagers never made it out of the asylum. Their bodies were found weeks later, their faces frozen in terror. The authorities could find no explanation for their deaths, but the people in the town knew the truth. The asylum was still haunted, and it would never let anyone leave alive.
