Ava had just gotten a new smartphone, and she was excited to try out all the latest apps and features. She spent hours downloading new games, social media apps, and messaging platforms. But as she scrolled through her feeds and checked her notifications, she began to notice something strange.
Whenever she looked at her phone, she felt like she was being watched. She would catch glimpses of movement out of the corner of her eye, but when she turned to look, there was nothing there. It was like her phone was alive, and it was always watching her.
One night, Ava was lying in bed, scrolling through social media, when she heard a whisper coming from her phone. At first, she thought it was just her imagination, but then she heard it again, louder this time.
"Turn off the lights," the voice whispered.
Ava was too scared to move. She tried to turn off her phone, but it wouldn't respond. The voice grew louder, and Ava could feel something crawling out of her phone.
It was a creature made of wires and circuit boards, with glowing eyes and jagged teeth. It slithered out of the phone and onto Ava's bed, and she could feel its cold breath on her face.
Ava tried to scream, but the creature crawled into her mouth, silencing her. She could feel it burrowing into her mind, taking control of her thoughts and actions.
In the end, Ava was consumed by the creature, and her phone was found lying on the bed, still glowing with an eerie light. Her friends were warned to be careful with their own smartphones, to never let them become more than just devices, lest they fall prey to the sinister forces that lurked within.
