Emily had just bought a brand new smartphone, and she was eager to try out all of its features. She spent hours downloading apps and customizing her phone, not realizing that she was downloading something far more dangerous.

One night, Emily was using her phone to watch a horror movie. As she watched, she felt a strange sensation, as if something was watching her from inside the phone.

Suddenly, her phone screen went black, and she could hear strange whispers coming from the device. Emily tried to turn off the phone, but it wouldn't respond.

Then, a message appeared on the screen: "I've been waiting for you."

Emily was paralyzed with fear. She could feel a presence in the room, but she couldn't see anything. The whispers grew louder, and Emily felt like she was losing her mind.

She tried to run, but the phone seemed to be controlling her every move. It led her to the basement, where she found an old rotary phone, covered in cobwebs and dust.

As Emily picked up the phone, she could hear a voice on the other end. It was the voice of a young girl, whispering cryptic messages and warnings.

Emily tried to hang up, but the phone was now a conduit for something far more sinister. The girl's voice grew louder, and Emily could feel her sanity slipping away.

Finally, the girl's voice grew quiet, and Emily was left alone in the basement. She looked at her smartphone, but it was now just a lifeless device. Emily knew that she had come too close to the supernatural, and she vowed never to watch horror movies on her smartphone again.
