In the small village of Ravenswood, there was a house that had stood for centuries. It was said that the house was cursed and that anyone who entered it would never leave.

The house had a large, ornate mirror that had been in the family for generations. It was said that the mirror had the power to trap souls and that the spirits of those who had died in the house were trapped inside.

One day, a young couple named Alice and Tom moved into the house. They were excited to start their new life together and didn't believe in the rumors about the house.

As they began to settle in, strange things started to happen. Doors would slam shut on their own, objects would move without explanation, and they could hear whispering voices in the dead of night.

One day, Alice was standing in front of the mirror, admiring her reflection. Suddenly, she saw something move behind her in the reflection. She turned around, but there was nothing there.

As the days passed, Alice became more and more obsessed with the mirror. She would spend hours staring into it, transfixed by her own reflection. Tom grew increasingly worried about her, but she refused to listen.

One night, Tom woke up to find Alice standing in front of the mirror, completely still. He shook her, but she didn't respond. It was as if she had been trapped by the mirror.

Tom tried to pry Alice away from the mirror, but he couldn't break her gaze. Suddenly, he saw her reflection start to twist and contort, becoming more and more distorted. He realized that the mirror was trapping her soul.

Tom smashed the mirror with a hammer, but it was too late. Alice was gone, trapped forever in the haunted reflections of the cursed mirror.

The house was never inhabited again, and the mirror was never replaced. But locals say that on quiet nights, you can still hear the whispers of the trapped souls echoing through the empty halls of the Ravenswood house.
