Sophie had always been fascinated with ghost hunting and the paranormal. She had downloaded several apps on her smartphone that claimed to detect ghosts and spirits, and she loved to use them to explore haunted places.

One night, Sophie was using her ghost hunting apps to investigate an abandoned building in the outskirts of town. As she walked through the dark corridors, her phone suddenly started to glitch.

The apps began to malfunction, and the phone screen started flickering with static. Sophie tried to turn off the phone, but it wouldn't respond. Suddenly, a strange message appeared on the screen:

"I see you."

Sophie tried to shake off the eerie feeling and continued to explore the building. But as she walked down the stairs, her phone started to ring.

It was an unknown number, but when Sophie answered, she could only hear static on the other end. Then, the call disconnected, and Sophie noticed something strange.

The ghost hunting apps were no longer glitching, and the phone was working perfectly fine. It was as if something had fixed it.

Sophie started to feel like she was being watched. She tried to leave the building, but the doors wouldn't budge. She was trapped.

Then, she saw it. A shadowy figure standing at the end of the corridor, with glowing eyes and a sinister smile. It was the ghost that had been haunting the building, and it had found a way to manifest itself through Sophie's smartphone.

Sophie tried to run, but the ghost was too fast. It consumed her, and her phone was found lying on the ground, still glowing with an eerie light.

After that night, the abandoned building was closed off, and no one dared to enter it again. Sophie's ghost hunting apps were also removed from the app store, and her friends were warned to be careful with their smartphones, as they could be used as gateways for malevolent spirits.
