Melissa was a teenager who had just received her first smartphone. She was excited to use it to connect with her friends and explore the world of social media. But as she began to use the device, strange things started to happen.

At first, it was just little glitches. Her phone would turn on and off on its own, or the screen would freeze randomly. But as the days went on, the glitches became more intense.

Melissa would wake up to find her phone screen cracked, even though she had left it on her bedside table. She would receive text messages from unknown numbers, but when she replied, there was no response.

One night, Melissa was scrolling through her social media feed when she noticed something odd. In the background of a photo, there was a figure that wasn't supposed to be there. It was a dark figure, with glowing eyes, lurking in the shadows.

Melissa tried to brush it off as a trick of the light, but then she noticed the figure in other photos, too. It was following her, watching her every move.

One day, Melissa decided to investigate. She opened the camera app and started to take photos of her surroundings. As she snapped away, she noticed that the dark figure was now standing right behind her, its eyes fixed on her.

Melissa tried to run, but the figure pursued her. It was now in control of her smartphone, using it as a tool to enter the physical world. Melissa was trapped, and the figure consumed her soul.

From that day on, Melissa's smartphone was never found. It was said to be cursed, a gateway for malevolent spirits to enter the physical world. No one dared to use it, and it was eventually lost to time. But some say that if you listen closely, you can still hear the whispers of the dark figure, calling out from beyond the veil.
