Yes! Armor Reduction (AR) effects effect all types of damage i.e. spell damage. It is needed to do any significant damage to the bosses.
There are many different towers and items that gives AR. It is needed to sometimes mix and match what towers you use for armor reduction to see what you can fit into your build.
Towers and Items:
In the top left corner of your base there is a show that sells tier 1-3 items. People usually buy 3 copies of the lowest tier to look for the items they need and fuse what they don’t need.
Your character has a [D] Fusion Item ability. Any 3 of the same tier items in your 1,2,3 inventory slots will be combined when you press this button. You should always fuse all unneeded items as this is a good way to either find something you need or to get rid of useless items. The sell price is the same either way.
These items are special and are from Avatars.
In the top right hand corner of your screen is an icon of an eye above a mountain. When you click this you will see the avatars you have unlocked. You can pick two each game to use. You get primary and secondary effects for your first and the greyed out second primary for your second choice. Selecting a tier 3 unit (orange) as your secondary will give you a broken version of that characters item that gives stats to whatever you equip it to.
Broken? Yes broken. However it can be fixed for an ingame resource called (unlocked) monster souls. Purchased as a book at a shop in the bottom left corner of your base.
Each game you play there are two options for bosses. A raid boss and a solo boss (Val'kyr). The more damage that is dealt to the solo boss by everyone gives a higher chance for higher tier avatars to appear in the loot table.
There is an in game guide on what % chances you have to get everything. If you click your avatar in the top left corner of your screen this information along with a lot of other information can be found
This loot table holds all the loot and each person rolls to see if they can win it
Yes, to participate in Raid boss, the number of players must be at least one person. If the number of players is 3, each player can choose 3 towers and you get teleported down to fight the raid boss. (If the number of players is greater than 3 you choose 2 towers, the MVP player chooses 3)
The more damage done or killed means more loot!
In the screen where you select your Avatars you will see a tab at the bottom that says "God".
You use these scrolls to unlock alternate art forms for towers that you have the avatar unlocked for. These skins will take effect next game and increase the main stat for that tower by 20%.
They are automatically equipped/used once unlocked.
There are MANY MANY!!!! Unlockable features in this game that help buff you and your towers.
In the shops In the bottom left of your base and in the middle of the map you will see various towers that sell different thing. I highly recommend taking a look through them when you have time.
There is currently two ways of losing the game:
The number of alive creeps in the game exceeds the maximum allowed for more than 20 seconds in total through out the game. You can check how many creeps are alive in the top right of the scoreboard.
Players fail to kill one or more Final Boss before the timer for the final wave expires.
If you play on Hard or higher and lose after wave 30, the match counts as a loss but you still get half the Attribute points and Soul Gems (Lock) earned for the game.
All your data will be stored in the folder "C:\...\Documents\Warcraft III\CustomMapData". The folder starts with the name "GalaxyTD-SS<Number>", where:
SS3EVENT is season 3, played at versions v13.1.
SS4 is season 4, played at versions v13.2.
SS5 is season 5, played at versions v13.3.
SS6 is season 6, played at versions v13.4.
SS7 is season 7, played at versions v13.5.
SS8 is season 8, played at versions v13.6.
SS9 is season 9, played at versions v13.7.

Download version v13.4Go to play so that data can be converted to season 6.
Next, download version v13.5IFixx to play so that the data will be converted to season 7.
Then you can play version v13.6, now the data will be converted to season 8 and you can play it normally.
[Note: You only need to complete Peasant Gold 2 at Wave 10, the system will automatically convert and create a new season folder for you]
