Stage 1: Brainstorming
To introduce the topic to the class, you need to do the following steps:
Discuss the term “Food Waste” in class,
Listen to this ==> Podcast about the problem of food waste and discuss the content with the class. You might ask them to take notes or provide some questions about the content of the Podcast.
Ask students to share their ideas/knowledge about it on ==> Padlet or scan the QR Code. Answer the following questions on Padlet:

What are the results of food waste?
What possible solutions to reduce food waste?

Each plate tells a story as the poster shows. Think about what you put on your plate and what you eat
Follow your daily meals and food waste for a week
Write about/record your eating habits: Do you eat the whole meal? Do you eat half of it? How much do you waste?
Choose a plate/dish of your favorite and discover its story.
List the main ingredients of the dish
Search where each ingredient comes from and how it is planted and where.
Design a poster or record a video telling the story of your plate. The final product should have:
an introduction to your eating habits and food waste.
describe your favorite dish.
the story behind the items of the dish you have searched.
Your opinion about the results of your research
Your reflection on your eating habits and how you will change them.
Share your poster/video with your teacher and classmates.
