The Performative "Ultimate" God of the HHgregg

Not even really the store mascot himself, the Gregg is more specifically from the game hhGregg's Quest for Coupons. He's sentient in the game and, at first, was completely content with the world he lived in. However, after years of just waking up, having his coupons stolen again, and getting them back over and over again, he started to grow disillusioned of his world and convinced there was more out there for him to do.

At the end of every completion, the player/HH is confronted by a massive Mr. BlueLight, the mascot for Kmart. Usually at the end, BlueLight just talks to you about the game's incompletion, what the creator intended to add, and thanking you for playing it. One day, though, when HH went up to confront BlueLight again, there was something more strange about the guy. With a captivating gaze highlighted by yellow eyes, Mr. BlueLight broke from his usual script, and proposed a deal to HH: if BlueLight helps him in creating a world where anything can happen and HH is the ruler of it, HH has to stay in that world, rule it, but not stop any chaos that may come from it. With barely thinking, in an excited fervor, Hhgregg took the deal. HHGregg, the dimension, was born.

From then, HH has remained in that dimension. He was greeted by Nyarlathotep when first teleported, who introduced himself as someone who will help HH create his ideal world. Nyarlathotep aided him in figuring out how to do things, like create entities (Nyarlathotep created Teddie as an example, HHGregg followed through with one of the other gods idk who, afterwards HHGregg created Cookie Man) or worlds (the hhgregg was the first thing to be created).

 Afterwards, Nyarlathotep set up systems and rules in the world and left to let Hhgregg deal with what more was to come.

(Positive) Cookie Man - Though C.M. isn’t actually fully aware of it, he was actually Hh's first non-god creation in the hhgregg dimension, meaning Hh has a pretty close attachment to C.M. outside of their actual friendship. Only reason he hasn’t mentioned it to CM is because he’s forgotten about how he was created by now and Hh doesn't wanna like. Fuck with his Brain or wahtever could happen with resurfacing that. He finds C.M. very amusing despite the latter’s more serious demeanor. They’ve been friends since.. Literally since CM existed. Gregg genuinely cares about him.. Though like with anyone else he does also just have a need for constant amusement even at the expense of his friend’s happiness. Which is exactly what happened after the shit that went down with Sephiroth. He tried to comfort CM the best he could, and on top of what he thought would give CM a break, he wanted to find some sort of entertainment out of the whole situation. So, he gave Sephiroth the therapist job. He didn’t/doesn't understand why CM ended up extremely upset at him and conflicted on him, and he opts to just act like he didn’t do anything wrong.

(Positive) Sephiroth - Hhgregg sees Sephiroth as simple entertainment. If asked if he LIKES Sephiroth as a person? He’d say no, considering his abuse and homophobia among other things. But, he ignores this and continues to see Sephiroth more positively just because of the “”entertainment”” he’s brought through the therapy.

(Neutral-Negative) Sho - He hardly sees Sho any differently than anyone else but he’s just.. Very intrigued by Sho. He sees Sho as very very entertaining but sort of “Huh” at Sho’s desperation to leave and constant resilience towards anyone who opposes him. Sho IS starting to get on his nerves though.. just a little bit. 

(Positive) Nyarlathotep - He holds high respect for Nyarlathotep and is the only entity Hh puts above himself. Gregg probably considers him a close friend and is glad to share similar goals which is just.. finding amusement in anything. Overall just really thankful towards Nyarlathotep for creating the whole dimension and getting him out of the bored state he was in before it all.

(Positive) Any of the deities (Teddie, Four, etc.) - Respects them like coworkers but acts around them like they’ve been besties forever even if maybe the others don’t see him the exact same way. Nothing really else to it.

(Neutral) Literally anyone else - He views everyone else like just.. Sort of a pawn in a chess game. He can feign concern or actual investment pretty easily, but overall all he wants to see is what they can end up doing for him and his own amusement. He doesn’t really see them this way out of malice, Hh generally just feels constantly bored and needs to have something happening constantly somewhere to keep him from boredom. So, he utilizes and exploits others!
