IB Mission Statement: "The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
NOTE: Even if you successfully enter the IB Program, you must complete the Pre-IB Program in Grades 9 and 10 in order to move on to the IB Program in Gr 11 and 12. This is similar to the system of AP and Pre-AP in the Advanced Placement Program)
The IB Program taking part for two years, Grade 11, and Grade 12, costs $3000 CAD in total ($1500 per year). There are financial assistance programs
(NOTE: For the 2022-2023 School Year, the IB Program has paused its financial requirement due to Covid-19.

Studies in Language and Literature
Language Acquisition
Individuals and Societies
Experimental Sciences
Mathematics
The Arts.
Students also complete additional "Core Elements" which include the Theory of Knowledge course, Extended Essay
150 Hours of extracurricular learning and reflection (CAS - Creativity, Activity, Service).
Final exams, which are internationally standardized
