The TDSB has a vast range of different programs for those who want to go beyond the typical high school experience. Many schools across the TDSB offer at least one specialized program, and you'd be hard pressed to find a neighborhood without several specialized schools/programs. Click on the programs you want to learn about to get more information.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: AS OF 2022, THE TDSB NO LONGER HAS ANY SPECIAL SELECTION PROCESS (TESTS, PORTFOLIOS, LEADERSHIP SHEETS, ETC) FOR STUDENTS ENTERING SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS. THE SELECTION PROCESS IS NOW A RANDOM LOTTERY PROCESS.
Every Specialized program falls under optional attendance. Actually, for every school you apply to that isn't your home school, you need to fill this form out and give it to your guidance counselor (who'll send it to the school you applied to) or send it to the high school directly.
This form is updated yearly
