Many people think that hamsters need small cages since they are small animals. This is not true. In the wild, hamsters can travel many miles a night in search of food. They need big cages where they can get exercise. The absolute bare minimum floorspace of a hamster cage is 450 square inches. Anything smaller than that is too small. Remember that tubes, slides, and other cramped spaces do not count as floorspace. (A 40+ gallon tank is also fine)
A bad company that cares about money over the well-being of the animal is Tiny Tales. Don't buy any products from Tiny Tales and encourage other people not to buy them as well.
Place your cage in a quiet area that is away from direct sunlight and drafts.
