Crate - the 'cage' where your dog will sleep. Make sure they can stand, turn in a full circle and can lie down comfortably and with enough space.
Pen - a space that encloses your dog so they don't get into trouble when you're away. As a puppy, put them in the pen if they aren't with you in the same room.
Toys - all through their lives, your dog will need and want toys to chew on. If your dog is a strong chewer, be careful as they could eat string, stuffing and fabric.
Water - refresh your dogs water every 1-3 days and fill it up when needed. Make sure to wash it to otherwise bacteria and dirt will linger on the bowl.
Bed - a soft comfortable bedding for your dog to nap/sleep/rest on. Make sure it fits them and that they don't eat it or wreck it. If they do, try something else.
