As the CloudreadyOS software can be installed on a wide range of different computers the developers at Neverware have to carry out the work necessary when they port the system and validate it on the different hardware used. Obviously they do not have access to every different model of computer available so they maintain a list of the validated equipment and if your computer is on it you should not have any problems.
However they also state that just because your particular model is not on their list that it will not work and it could be worth giving it a try.
In some situations a given computer model may load the operating system o.k. but not everything may work. For example there can be issues with audio [sound card incompatibility] or screen functions, especially touch screens, where not everything is as it should be due to incompatible drivers.
Unfortunately any such deficiencies will remain until [hopefully] a future software release incorporates a fix for them - but nothing is guaranteed.
