Heartcatch Region - Explorers Guild Storyline + Prompts

The Explorers Guild is an interactive Storyline that feeds off of users participating in the story at their own pace and developing their pokemon within the Heartcatch Region (and beyond!)

Participating and working on guild prompts is completely optional and does not need to match your own personal lore at all. Users can use as much or as little official HC lore for their own OC development as they wish.
Guild prompts must be completed IN ORDER to progress in the storyline.

⭐ What is the storyline?

To participate in the Guild's storyline, the story progresses with the release of new "chapters" containing entries. These "entries" are a short series of in-story events that end with a prompt to complete for each entry. Each prompt must be completed IN ORDER to continue on with progressing in the story!

The Story itself as a whole is referred to as Chapters. These are portions of a story that are released after certain timeframes, events, etc.
Each Chapter has "sections" of the story called Entries. At the end of each entry, you will find that sections Prompt to complete!
Sometimes, there will be special 'sub-stories' called Arcs! These stories are off-shoot adventures that can only be completed once you compelte a designated chapter AND entry. 🚧Arcs are special and will only be released during events!🚧 Arcs are NOT required to be completed to continue on in the story and can be SKIPPED! However, they often have good rewards you may not want to miss.
- - All Arcs labeled below will be marked with a 🔖 - Which means they are skippable !
  - You may work on an Arc once you complete the designated Chapter & Entry it is labeled as! IE: If you wish to complete C1E8A1, you will need to finish C1E8 first!
- ALL parts of the story itself will be referred to by its designated Chapter, Entry, OR Arc! For example, if you are on Chapter 1 Entry 3, it will be referred to as C1E3 when abbreviated.

** IMPORTANT: Please note that the main story below is written PRIMARILY in the Explorer’s Guild NPC Apollo’s & The Main Character (‘MC’/YOU) point of view. It is mostly written in the THIRD OR SECOND PERSON (the user is also typically referred to as 'You' OR they/them pronouns!). All chapters will be labeled with WHO is the primary narrator focus AND what POV it is in.

The story may give your Pokémon a voice/personality that DOES NOT match what you personally perceive your own Pokémon as and that is OK! I have tried to make the MC as vague as possible, but I am also going for more of an “Unsung Hero” vibe for interaction/lore purposes, so please keep that in mind!

⭐ You can find each Chapter separated into it's entry labeled by its designated button below. The story is split into their own google document pages as a better buffer for not being spoiled and to keep this page clean as the story expands to newer chapters!⭐

⭐ how do i participate?

As mentioned prior, the story must be completed in order for prompt progression. To work on further prompts, the ones before it need to be complete. For example; If you wish to complete C1E3's prompt, you first must complete C1E1 and THEN C1E2 to be able to work on C1E3's prompt.

📌Want to use a new pokemon on your adventure but don't want to spend the time progressing through the entire story OR want to have your pokemon work together in a 'party' group?: Complete the First Prompt ONCE per pokemon to add new 'mons to your roster of guild members to use!
- Once a pokemon has completed C1E1- They can be used in any future prompt you wish for them to participate OR be mentioned in!
- Some species of pokemon submitted to participate may not make total sense in the grand scheme of the story later down the line, but besides that discrepancy, virtually ALL pokemon may be submitted and will make sense story-wise! (sorry, trying to be vague as possible here LOL)

Completed prompts should be posted in the #explorers-guild discord channel for prompt redemption! Check the channel pins for forms and additional rules.

Prompts must be posted in the channel to progress and redeem your rewards.
- Check the designated Entry document (based on the prompt you are completing) for additional info. on extra rewards.
All prompts (besides C1E1) get a baseline +300 💌 LLs for writing AND art. All writing & art follow the baseline pixies prompts redemption sheet. Some prompts may have specialty ITEM OR POKEMON DESIGN rewards that you can redeem.

All Arcs are labeled with a 🔖 ! This means they are SKIPPABLE and do not need to be completed to progress in the storyline.

The User shows up at the Explorer's Guild looking to join and fills out an application to begin their duties as a new recruit! All is well the first day, but Apollo suddenly lets everyone know that something fell to the region in the middle of the night and a convoy would be setting off to go as soon as possible. Welcome to the Explorer's Guild! Adventure awaits you.
