The pound is a function where users can relinquish ownership of already-approved designs they are not using OR submit non-approved designs to be put into the pound for payment in return. All of the Pound available pokemon can be found within the specified folder located on the HeartcatchRegion toyhouse account.
Users are able to adopt from the pound through the use of an “Adoption Ticket” which can be won during events, purchased from Trinket (5000 LLs), OR by submitting a design to be put into the Pound itself.
Any user can adopt ANY design that is in the Pound. It is FCFS based on who posts the adoption form within discord AND has an Adoption Ticket to do so.
Users CANNOT adopt a pokemon from the pound until the pokemon is officially moved into the pound toyhouse folder. It is completely FCFS once that has happened. If you wish to know when the pound has been updated/new pound uploads are posted, go to #reaction-roles and add the @/archive-updates reminder ping to yourself.
When you submit a Pre-Approved Pokemon to the Pound, you must transfer over the Toyhou.se upload of the pokemon itself (if you've made one) to HeartcatchRegion. If you do not have a Toyhou.se or have not made a personal upload of the pokemon for yourself, we will make one in its place so it can be transferred to the new owner upon adoption. Any and all art that the pokemon has will be given to the user who adopts the character.
Once you post a form to surrender an already approved pokemon to the pound, IMMEDIATELY make the transfer to our masterlist account. Your form will not be approved when archiving if the design was not transferred over AND if you did not note down that it does not have a personal upload.
Once you relinquish a design, you do not have the choice to get the design back unless you use an adoption ticket or submit a design and re-adopt it back.
Users can submit 3 unapproved OR approved designs that they’ve made per month to the Pound for other people to adopt. For each design you submit in a given month you can claim ONE of the below in return:
1. Adopt a Pokemon from the Pound
OR
2. Receive an “Adoption Ticket” for later use
OR
3. Receive a “Mystic Gem”
OR
4. Receive "3,000 Loveletters 💌”
Users can only purchase AND relinquish a maximum of 3 designs to/from the pound in a given month. The rollover for this begins at the first of every month regardless of when you last adopted from the Pound (NOT every 30 days). (IE: you can submit 3 designs AND adopt 3 times each monthly rollover)
If you do not want any of the rewards for submitting an unapproved design to the Pound, we are completely fine with donation designs as well! You are allowed to submit an ADDITIONAL 3 pre-approved designs to the Pound as donations. So you could submit 6 masterlisted pokemon total as donations if you wish (IE: you would not get any rewards for just wanting to get rid of the designs from your personal archive after you submit the first 3). We are not accepting non-approved designs as donations to reduce the influx of staff archiving new uploads.
Unapproved designs that are made to be submitted to the Pound for one of the rewards are not allowed to be Mystic OR Legendaries OR “Joke/Meme” designs. They ARE allowed to be:
Any other pokemon (Spaceworld AND Megas included)
Up to a 5 pokemon fusion
Any color/design and Type-Swapped
** Note: The Mystic/Legendary rule does NOT count for pokemon you are relinquishing to the Pound that are already approved designs. You ARE hypothetically allowed to get a design approved that is mystic/legendary to immediately submit to the pound after approval if you wish to do so.
All designs submitted to the pound must have a clean, unshaded reference and will be put through an approval process much like the typical MYO approval process. Please note that designs that are made with the clear intention to “farm” the 3 monthly reward items may be denied (IE: consistently only making incredibly simple designs like ditto or unown)
If a Pokemon is in the Pound for an extended period of time (3+ months), they will be raffled off during events or other special occasions OR if a design particularly fits for a Holiday raffle.
