This year's assembly will be Lawrence Hall of Science’s Shocking Nature of Wildfires science show. During the 50-minute interactive program, students will be asked to make predictions and share their thinking as they watch our educator explore and experiment with electricity and fire. During the show, students will get a chance to observe the following activities: experimenting with high and low votage electricity, comparing and contrasting how different fuels can create different fires, and experimenting with a Jacob's Ladder device to see how electricity can indeed start a fire!
