PTA Sponsored Clubs 2025-26

Harvey Green PTA has been successfully organizing afterschool enrichment clubs for the students of Harvey Green.

These clubs are run by parents and/or high school students who volunteer their time and expertise to make the clubs successful.
PTA supports clubs through facility reservation, insurance coverage and volunteering.
Please note that PTA cannot provide any monetary funding to any clubs. All donations collected must be made out to Harvey Green PTA.
All clubs are for Harvey Green students ONLY. We cannot accommodate students from other schools. Thank you for understanding
For high demand clubs, PTA members will get priority for the spots available (thanks for understanding).
At the end of the club, please get a PTA provided poster board to make a collage of your club @ Harvey Green to help us advertise the clubs that we have on campus.

For parents, If you would like your child to participate in a PTA sponsored club:

Parent volunteering is required for students to participate. We need parent supervision to help set up/clean up depending on the club and helping supervise during the club.
Harvey Green PTA volunteers may take photos and videos for sharing with parents to promote our programs. So, if a student participates, photo/video image consent is required.
Please do not drop off your child more than 5 min prior to start time. Any time before the club starts, please stay with your child for safety concerns.

If you would like to initiate a club, please contact PTA & the principal and specify the following:

Who: Which grade levels do you target at?
When: Date/Time, length of the program
Where: MUR, or other rooms, or sports field?
Size: Is there a class size limit?
What: Program outlines or curriculum
Supplies: Projector (tends to be PC compatible or direct HDMI port, converter tends to not work )? White board (please bring your own markers/eraser)?
Fee: Free, or asking for donations? (note: that donations will be collected for Harvey Green PTA and reimbursements can be submitted)
Parent help: Must have adult supervision

- Harvey Green Afterschool Choir has been hosted by Mrs Jo Jo McCoy, an experienced choir director volunteering from Tri-City Nightingale Voice Group since 2016.
Go Club
- Harvey Green Go Club was founded by Tina L. from Irvington High School in Fall 2019. This club is sponsored by American Go Association and supported by Harvey Green PTA.
