Math Olympiad

• Math Olympiads Program at Harvey Green is coordinated by parent volunteers. Students in 4th and 5th grades may sign up and pay a small fee to build a team representing our school. There will be five exams administrated from Fall to Spring. Students are encouraged to form small study groups to train based on MOEMS curriculum.

• For the 2025-2026 Academic year, the dates will be the following Fridays from 3:00pm - 4:00pm

• Recommended donation of $20 (check made out to Harvey Green PTA with student name, grade, class, teacher name). That can be brought to the school front office. The donation helps cover registration & student awards. We will potentially have an end of year pizza party to celebrate if enough funds are collected.

• Parent Volunteer requirements

  • All parents of enrolled students need to help volunteer to supervise in order to help these programs continue. We need 3 parent volunteers for each session. Volunteers will assist with distributing materials, supervising the test environment, and ensuring students are signed out safely. Please refrain from answering any questions about the test. The volunteers need to help setup the benches PRIOR to the test start, so please come 15 min prior to the test time. [setup: 2:45pm]
