We are to group in groups of five for our final assignment. The assignment would be divided into two parts.
Part A (Group)
In a group are to discuss the site plans of the house and layout of the house. Then we were to propose materials for the overall structure, and provide a set of furniture reference which we all would use.
Part B (Individual)
Individually we need to create:
1 site plan
1 floor plan
2 elevations (longitudinal and horizontal)
1 section
compilation of progress drawings.
The final assignment definitely the toughest as my group mates would also agree. But personally, the reason why I felt this particular assignment was more difficult was because of the group work involved. Not blaming anyone in particular, but my group was not very initiative in the start, although eventually, everything turned out for the better.
The Taylorian graduate capabilities I improved this time were my communication skills and interpersonal skills. During this group project I was able to use my communication skills, communicating appropriately in various settings and modes when times needed work done, I did my best in calmly communicating and not fostering and negative feelings. My interpersonal skills were used when I understood the situation and assumed leadership at times when needed. An example of this was initiating group meetings through the WhatsApp group and presenting ideas in order to encourage my fellow group mates to contribute.
