Today I recorded a video of myself answering some questions from the Proust Questionnaire to record down my answers. The reason for choosing to record a video is just to produce another means of understanding or listening to my answers both for myself and whoever else is reading this. My answers in this video will be used to create my empathy map.
The Proust Questionnaire is a set of questions answered by French novelist, crtitic and essayist, Marcus Proust in a confession album, a sort of parlor game popularised during the victorian era.
Other historical figures who have answered confession albums are Oscar Wilde, Karl Marx, Arthur Conan Doyle, Stéphane Mallarmé, and Paul Cézanne.
After answering the proust questionnaire, I then asked my sister to formulate a few more questions for me to answer, to help me collect more 'data' on myself.
Using my answers from both the Proust Questionnaire and my sister's own generated questions, I created my empathy map. Within the empathy map are some of the answers which are summarised as well some of my own contributions which I think may be useful in helping me create a country I will enjoy.
Now that I am done with the first stage; empathy, I am able to successfully understand and able to describe myself and what kind of leader I want to be. Many questions and options still lie in what type of country I am aiming to build, but this will be addressed in the next stage of the assignment, the define stage. During the define process I will organize the structure of my country and its categories so I can easily imagine how it is going to look like.
Follow me in the next stage of my journey to create a country!
