🎃🏌️Jack O'Lantern Classic Benefits Local Food Banks

We had a beautiful fall day for our Jack O'Lantern Classic golf tournament. The course was festively decorated, and some of our golfers and helpers were in costume for the occasion. I think everyone had fun in this event. We would like to give a very big thank you to all of our golfers and sponsors that helped us to raise $8200 to help local food pantries. That money was essentially doubled when we used as a matching gift fund to raise money for the Exeter Area Food Pantry in November 2024.

2023 Jack O'Lantern Classic

With the help of 96 golfers, numerous volunteers and the sponsors listed below, The 2023 Jack O'Lantern Classic raised $7,100 for the Helping Harvest Food Bank and an additional $470 for our Safe Berks Meal program.

In October 2022, Hackaway partnered with the Reading Berks Basketball Association and their Coaches vs. Cancer program to raise money for the American Cancer Society through the Jack O'Lantern Classic. The 2022 Classic was the largest ever with 103 golfers. The tournament raised $7000 for the American Cancer Society.
