We have been very happy with Gummy Bears' Daycare! Karla is great with the kids and our little one smiles whenever we take her there! Karla has also been very supportive to our family and is always helping in any way she can! She was wonderful during the early transition to daycare and did not get flustered when our little one was refusing bottles for a short time. She was always very calm and collected and helped us work through the struggles of getting a breastfed baby to take a bottle as well! I would recommend Gummy Bears' Daycare to anyone!
In January of 2012, we enrolled our daughter in Karla’s in-home daycare. We were immediately impressed with her welcoming, child-friendly set up, organization of her home and her extensive trainings and professionalism she provided. While our daughter attended, we enjoyed seeing our daughter’s growth and learning from personal interactions with Karla, her family and the other children. They attended educational field trips, held celebrations involving parents and learned educational as well as social skills. Our daughter still talks about Karla, who made a huge impact in her life and together we were able to build a positive foundation for the next steps in her life as she prepared for preschool and her future education.
We were very fortunate to have had Karla caring for our daughter. She was such a positive influence in our daughter’s life; we are very thankful for opportunity to work with her in raising our daughter.
My 18-month-old son has been going to Miss Karla's (AKA Gummy Bears' Daycare & Learning Center), for only a short time. This is our 3rd and FINAL daycare! The first I felt didn't do enough, and the second one wasn't a convenient location. Miss Karla is 3 houses down the road! That's not the best part though. Since we placed Collin at Miss Karla's, he comes home in a much better mood than he did in the past - although the terrible 2's are upon us. He is fed home-cooked meals, he is clean and dry. She has an awesome play area downstairs with perfect escape routes if ever necessary. She has a wonderful daughter Katie, and her dad, who they refer to as "Papa" who looks after the kids if Karla has appointments. That helps me since I can't just up and leave work if she needed to close. I highly recommend Gummy Bears' as that is where my child spends his days and loves it!
It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for Karla Gindling in regards to childcare. After staying home for the first 5 months with my little one, I was nervous about handing him off to a complete stranger. My son took to Karla immediately and she made the transition MUCH easier! She is warm and loving to the kids in her care. She has created a cheerful and safe play area in her house and lets the kids play outside, weather permitting. She takes the time each day to talk over any concerns or changes she’s seen in my child. We had some unique requests and she was able to accommodate our preferences. I would recommend Gummy Bears Daycare to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dedicated and compassionate home daycare for their child.
Let me tell you about a great in-home daycare! When I was ready to go back to work after having my second son, I found Gummy Bears' Daycare & Learning Center from recommendations made by Child Care Resource and Referral. I was looking for a place that had day hours, a smaller number of kids, somewhere that my two sons could be together, and a location that was close to where I worked! When I came to visit Karla's home I found exactly what I was looking for!
At Gummy Bear's Daycare & Learning Center, Karla has taken her years of experience and trainings and provided care to my children at a level that made me not worry and wonder about my children while I was at work. They thrived and still years later talk about the friends they played with, the fun holiday parties Karla put on, the field trips and the hot cocoa tea parties. My boys had the best experience at Gummy Bears' Daycare & Learning Center during the 4 years we came here and I highly recommend Karla as your daycare provider.
Karla was our primary daycare provider for a year and a half with our first little one (January 2014-June 2015). She was great with the kiddos! They were often doing fun activities like having picnics outside, going for walks, and learning songs. Plus she did a great job of incorporating the little kids in the activities that the big kids were doing (play-doh, coloring, etc.). She also really worked hard to bring all the daycare families together for fun activities and events throughout the year. The best part is that she’s flexible and does everything she can to make your life as a working parent easier.
We chose Karla to be our daycare provider for 6 years because she took the time to get to know us and our baby at our first interview. We wanted someone who would treat our kids as their own and we found this in her. She has always loved our kids and our kids love her. Soon she became more than a daycare provider, she became a partner in our effort to raise our kids.
Karla had age appropriate expectations for our kids. She went above just meeting their needs for naps, meals, and play time. Many times she took our kids on fieldtrips, to parks and on walks. She realizes that all kids are different and uses different approaches for each child.
When we chose Karla as our daycare provider we lived a mile away. We later moved to Denver and chose to keep bringing our children to her even though it meant an extra 90 minutes of driving per day. We chose to do that for a year until our children entered school. We did not feel we could find another provider that would care for our children the way Karla did.
We feel very lucky that we found Karla and would recommend her to anyone.
