The following is what a typical day looks like. Please understand that this schedule is flexible and adjusted as necessary to the needs of the youngest children at the daycare. The babies are included in everything we do and participate as their age allows. They may not understand words, but they are part of the action.
7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M. Free play/music/learning videos/cartoon
8:00 A.M.-8:30 A.M. Breakfast and clean-up
8:30 A.M.-10:00 A.M. Bus pick-up, free play or outdoor play
10:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M. Curriculum (older kids), naptime for young infants
10:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M. Games and structured baby time
11:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Playroom clean-up, hand washing, lunch prep
12:00 P.M.-12:45 P.M. Lunch & nutrition talk, music, clean-up
12:45 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. Story time
1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. Nap/quiet time
3:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. Snack and outdoor play or free play when it's cold
4:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M. Music/dance/cartoons, reading
