NPAS is an abbreviation for National Police Air Service. NPAS is a special department within the Altis Police Constabulary which provides air support for anything ranging from transporting officers to being the eyes in the sky for the bank to sling-loading hunters. The 3 main helicopters in NPAS are an MH-9 hummingbird, the WY-55 Hellcat, and the Huron. The PO-30 Orca may only be used by TFO pilots in extreme situations and by SFS's and Instructors. If you wish to apply for NPAS, make sure to check the NPAS handbook. The NPAS Staff team is mainly focusing on recruiting new NPAS members and will be open to any of your questions. If you have trouble operating any of our helicopters, you are able to apply for flight school and our Instructor team will be taking you through all the basic mechanics.Â
Tactical Firearms Unit (TFU) are a specialised entity within the Altis Police Constabulary designed to combat large-scale situations and bank operations on the island of Altis. TFU serves as a counter balance to rebel groups conducting major operations, providing dedicated leadership and operational command capabilities. Their primary duties include leading bank operations, combating large-scale drug trafficking, maintaining high response rates, and providing escorts for high-risk legal runs. TFU have access to enhanced weaponry and equipment not available to regular police officers, allowing them to counter the increasing number of heavy weapons used by rebels. While integrated within the broader police force, TFU operates under its own specialised regulations that accommodate their unique operational requirements.
RTO is an abbreviation for Recruitment Training Officer, The Special department is also known as the "Police Academy". We deal with all of the recruitment into the Altis Police Constabulary. We make sure that people are eligible to join the APC, and we make it so that it's fair for everyone joining. Any Recruitment Training Officer (RTO) can be identified on TeamSpeak by the [RTO] tag on the right-hand side of their name. We are essentially the face of the police as it is our job to make sure that people have a good first impression of the Police. At any point during your time in/not in the police, you can always message any RTO+ if you have questions.
