You are encouraged to give feedback regularly for officers that you have patrolled with. Positive feedback should be given if you feel that the officer(s) in question have demonstrated a solid understanding of their role, and more importantly that you have enjoyed the experience with them. Neutral feedbacks should be given if there are areas that you felt slight improvement could be given, however, these issues did not give you a negative experience. Negative feedback should only be given if someone is clearly not following the rules or is behaving poorly. In these cases, we would suggest speaking to a higher-up or putting in a “Report a Cop”.
If something goes wrong, sometimes you may find that a report has been filed against you. This does not necessarily mean you will be demoted/kicked from the cops, however the Police Management will investigate all reports and take necessary action once all evidence has been processed. Anyone in the community can report a cop - this will not be dealt with on a “server level” unless it is deemed too serious - in those cases, the original poster will be asked to file a “report a player” instead. If something goes wrong, we would always suggest admitting that you made a mistake and learning from it - that way community relations are more civil.
If you need to report a cop please contact an A/CC+.
The Veteran Programme is designed to place members of the Police into Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum categories upon leaving the Police. This programme will be offered by Police Management to the person leaving only. The person leaving can not request to join veteran, we will offer it if we feel suitable for you to be placed into one of these categories, depending on your time and effort you put into the Police before leaving:
Category - Bronze Veteran is offered to members of the Police who have reached the rank of INSP, who have proved themselves in all aspects and gone above and beyond their usual duties. Should you be offered this, you will obtain the rank of DC.
Category - Silver Veteran is offered to members of the Police who have reached the rank of C/INSP - SUPT , who have proved themselves in all aspects and gone above and beyond their usual duties. Should you be offered this, you will obtain the rank of DS/INSP.
Category - Gold Veteran is offered to members of the Police who have reached the rank of C/SUPT, who have proved themselves in all aspects and gone above and beyond their usual duties. Should you be offered this, you will obtain the rank of C/INSP - SUPT.
Platinum Veteran may be available to police officers who have served for a considerable period of time and have accomplished notable achievements during their service. Police Management will dictate the rank that members will be offered depending on what they have done whilst in the Police. The highest possible rank awarded can be C/SUPT.
The following is applied to the above.
You can only use your veteran once, when/if you rejoin you may be granted veteran again if you do any worthy during your stay.
If you leave the Police and are assigned a Veteran rank, you are able to return by contacting a ACC+ once 1 month has passed from you leaving.
Should you rejoin as a Veteran, you are not guaranteed the same category or Veteran should you leave the Police again.
You will have a preference of which department you wish to join, however if there are no slots available to you, you must choose another department.
Police Management reserves the right to reconsider a persons veteran status at any given time.
