All weapons that are 7.62 mm in calibre and the MK200 are classed as heavy weapons.
An exception to this rule is the AK-12 (note: the RPK-12 is still considered as a heavy.)
A/CC+ can override any gear regulations mentioned on this page.
Checkpoints can be carried out anywhere on Altis. To carry out a checkpoint the following conditions must be met:
At least 5 officers
1 officer must be Detective Constable or above.
If PCSO(s) are attending a Recruitment Training Officer (RTO) or SPC+ must be present.
Officers should wear a hi-vis uniform. Inspectors and above are allowed to use their own uniforms.
Officers participating in the checkpoint must use a Tactical Operations channel or the Kavala Checkpoint channel if the checkpoint is near Kavala.
A Zamak containing spike strips, food, water, and toolkits.
Ensure there is space for any illegal items seized.
At least 2 Police interceptors must be present.
Anyone seen to be evading the checkpoint can be chased and apprehended. Ensure that spike strips are placed around the checkpoint to avoid vehicles evading (watch out for suspects using placed spike strips as one-way initiation). If a vehicle evades ensure that the registration is noted and pursuit is initiated by the operator of the Interceptor.
There: A wide range of operations can occur, such as but not limited to, drug run, hostage sit, robbing another gang or estate agent hacking.
First and foremost: use common sense to bring what seems fair. Besides numbers, also consider the gear and vehicles your opponents have.
Police-made escorts and checkpoints are NOT deemed as an operation.
An Operations Commander (OC) should immediately be appointed. This person is responsible for the overall success of the operation as well as the conduct of the officers attending.
The highest-ranking officer attending any situation will have full responsibility and will oversee whoever is OC at the time, If no one steps up to OC then the highest rank there must step up.
The OC decides when and where the box is opened and who carries which gun.
Follow operation gear guidelines when an estate agent gets hacked.
You cannot be dropped a heavy weapon unless an A/CC+ approves it.
An Ifrit can be used to counter hostile MRAPs. You can match the amount of Police Ifrits with the amount of hostile MRAPs (1:1 ratio).
You must wait until the situation is finished before selling any drugs or bonds to the Evidence Storage. Otherwise, you are combat storing.
The box can be opened in a situation against 10+ rebels.
The box can be found in every PD on the top floor.
If the box can be opened, you can take anything you can access.
For heavies, there is a ratio of 0.5:1 (10 rebels means you can take 5 heavies).
Heavies can be dropped to lower ranks by a SUPT+ (keep in mind the ratio).
You can use any vehicle that you can patrol in. PCSO-INSP must use marked vehicles, C/INSP+ can use unmarked vehicles.
If the situation involves 8+ rebels, Police can use unmarked vehicles.
SUPT+ can drop LSVs to lower ranks if there are 8+ rebels involved.
Other vehicles can be used in accordance with the land vehicle regulations.
Red zone raids are extremely monitored and restricted. The only times you are allowed to enter the red zone on your own accord is if you follow someone into it (this doesn't classify as a raid). Once Both Parties are inside the normal Redzone/Rebel Island server rules will apply (meaning both parties can KOS once inside the red zone rebel island).
TFU 3 / A/CC+ and above are allowed to authorise raids under the following conditions:
When a gang with 6+ members online captures the Church, OG Credit Cartel or the Rebel Island Drug Cartel.
The officers can take box gear and weapons but the amount of heavies being brought has to be regulated.
Once a redzone raid has been completed, you must wait 60 minutes before starting another.
C/TFU / ACC+ may authorise non-TFU members to attend a Red-zone raid, regardless of rank.
TFU 2 may authorise redzone raids for other TFU members only.
TFU 3 may authorise non-TFU members who are DC+.
The peson who authorises a red-zone raid MUST be in attendance and is responsible for ensuring that all regulations are followed.
Respond Ratio for Red-Zone is 1:1 with a 0.5:1 Heavy Ratio to the gang holding the capture point.
TFU can attend redzone when 3 rebels have capped church e.t.c. BUT Needs to be authorised by Chief/Co-Chief or A/CC+. A response ratio of 0.5 to 1 if the gang has under 6 rebels on .
C/SUPT cannot authorise raids.
ALL POLICE HAVE A 20-MINUTE NLR TIMER TO GO BACK TO POWER PLANT IF YOU DIE.
Only patrol gear can be used.
Police may bring an Ifrit if there is a hostile MRAP present at the power plant.
Police may respond with 1.5x the number of rebels holding the power plant (ratio of 1:1.5). If there are 6 rebels, police may bring 9 officers.
If Police have captured the power plant and the fight has ended, you must leave as soon as possible.
PCSOs are allowed to attend and be provided lethal weapons.
ALL POLICE HAVE A 20-MINUTE NLR TIMER TO GO BACK TO POWERPLAY IF YOU DIE.
Police may capture either powerplay at the start of each restart regardless of if it's been capped or not.
Police may respond with 1.5x the number of rebels holding the powerplay (ratio of 1:1.5). If there are 6 rebels, police may bring 9 officers.
Only patrol gear can be used.
Permission from C/INSP+ is required to attend.
Once Powerplay has been captured and the fight has ended, 3 cops can stay to defend it. Everyone else has to leave.
Once you leave, you cannot go back into the zone. If it's captured by police, other cops cannot enter the zone, even if it's being captured by rebels again.
If the 3 remaining cops leave or die, the situation is over and you can only come back 20 minutes after a gang has captured it.
Once captured, you may only hold this for 30 minutes unless there's an active combat situation.
Once the situation is over, mark the location on the map with the time the situation ended.
USE COMMON SENSE TO DETERMINE WHAT SEEMS FAIR TO BRING
Police may respond with 1.5x the number of rebels involved in the heist (ratio of 1:1.5). If there are 6 rebels, police may bring 9 officers.
The OC or the highest rank attending the heist will have full responsibility to make sure that police follow the rules and regulations.
PCSOs may only attend if an RTO+ is present.
Box gear can be used if there are 8+ rebels involved in the heist. If not, patrol gear must be used.
If the box can be opened, you can take anything you can access.
For heavies, there is a ratio of 0.5:1 (10 rebels means you can take 5 heavies).
Heavies can be dropped to lower ranks by a SUPT+ (keep in mind the ratio).
If there are 8+ rebels involved, everyone can bring an unmarked vehicle.
LSVs can be used if there are 8+ rebels involved and if your rank grants you access to them. Don't give LSVs to lower ranks in heists!
Police may attend 2 shipwrecks per restart following the below regulations. If additional shipwrecks are spawned these can only be attended to once they've been tampered (this also must be authorised SUPT+ that is in-game and not just on Teamspeak/Discord).
The first shipwreck recovery can only be authorised by a INSP+ who must attend the operation.
An additional shipwreck recovery can only be authorised after the original shipwreck situation has fully ended and by a C/INSP+ who must attend the operation.
In order to track this, you need put a marker on the shipwreck you've (succesfully or not) attempted a recovery for. If a shipwreck is marked on the map, only a C/INSP+ can authorize an additional shipwreck within the same restart.
There must be 3+ officers attending the situation (one of which is NPAS when the SDV needs to be slingloaded).
You can bring as many cops as you want. If another gang gets involved, you can only bring more cops if the 2:1 ratio isn't met.
A public server announcement must be sent out when you start the shipwreck recovery:
Vans or Zamaks must be used to transfer the Gold Bullion from the coast to the PD.
Slingloading the SDV is only allowed in the following circumstances:
Transport SDV (with cops) from PD to the shipwreck.
Transport SDV (with gold and cops) from the shipwreck to the coast.
Transport SDV (without gold or cops) from the coast to PD.
