Joining RTO

By joining the RTO team you will receive great opportunities for promotions and stand out for the normal Police Management by showing that you have what it cares to lead someone in trainings, and shown yourself caring about the APC. 

What does the management look for:

• Activity

• Good attitude and conduct for their time in the police

• Officer shows reassurance to lower ranks that they can be a good officer

• Good teaching methods

• Dedication 

• Confident

• The ability to communicate well between the other RTO’s

• Friendliness

• The ability to socialise, and talk to a variety of people

• Good understanding of the APC procedures and rules

Minimum requirements:

• DC+ (Exceptions can be made)

• You should not have any warning points for the following:

  • Racism

  • Disrespecting other members of the APC

If you apply to join the RTO department and are then put on hold for any reason or are accepted and decide to take an LOA for 7 days or longer, your application will be declined.
