First Transnational Project Meeting

Klaipeda, Lithuania

23rd-25th August 2021

The purpose of the meeting was partners to get to know each other face-to-face and to agree in details on the way project activities would be implemented, on the dissemination strategies, on the ways the monitoring of project would be conducted. The transnational meeting was important as face-to-face communication was vital for making easier project implementation and would guarantee feasibility of the objectives set. The meeting was initially scheduled for November 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restriction partners were able to meet only via eTwinning platform at that time. For the period of the lockdown, partners had two online meetings via eTwinning platform. Despite both online meetings, conducting the first transnational meeting on place /in Lithuania/ was highly important as it gave participants possibility to discuss the ways each country could contribute to the project depending on its unique profile. Project meeting participants could become aware with other participants working profile and the ways they could best work as a team. It was important to discuss face-to-face difficulties each country had faced during the first project year and to agree on the ways these difficulties should be overcome. Moreover, the organisation of the LTT activities in Portugal and Bulgaria also needed careful planning which is more efficient when partners are able to communicate face-to-face. Therefore, the first transnational meeting was rescheduled for the summer of 2021. The coordinator informed the NA via email for the necessity of rescheduling the meeting.

On the first transnational project meeting, partners:

1) Analyzed the project impact during the implementation of first year project activities;

2) Discussed the organization of Learning, teaching, training activities in Portugal and Bulgaria;
