VISUAL RESUME

The visual resume is a one to two-page creative resume. (8.5 x 11in pdf format) It must contain:

1. A photo of the candidate

2. The name of the candidate's high school

3. The DECA district that your school competes in. 

Additionally, feel free to include the following

• Skills

• Accomplishments

• Extracurricular activities

• Values

• Ideal officer position (best fit and most qualified for)

This is a VISUAL resume, so please be creative- include lots of pictures, personal anecdotes, and anything you think helps communicate who you are and why you are a good fit for the role!

Lastly the number one tip- as with anything- is PROOFREAD! Please make sure your spelling, grammar, and formatting are correct so that you can best communicate yourself and your ideas!
