At the State Conference, all candidates will give a 90-second speech. This will be in front of the 13 voting delegates and the interview will immediately follow. The prompts for the speeches that candidates can choose from for the 2025-2026 term are:

TIPS

• Chose the prompt that aligns with you the best and you can talk the most on, not the one that seems the easiest.

• Your time will begin as soon as you start, not when the committee says you can start, so take your time and gather yourself before starting!

• Have fun with it and be creative! Take this as another opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and personality so go all out.

• If you mess up, do not restart. You won't have time and the committee will not know unless you tell them by restarting or apologizing. Just keep going and improvise if you need to!

• Practice! Get comfortable with your speech and what you want to say.
