QUALIFYING EXAM

During your District testing window, all Officer Candidates will be required to take a 50-question, multiple-choice exam about Colorado DECA, DECA Inc., and the officer roles. To qualify for candidacy, each candidate must earn a score of 70% or greater on the exam to continue with the process. Each chapter may have up to three candidates for state office. If there are more than three candidates from one school that pass the exam with a qualifying score, a tiebreaker process may take place within your local chapter. There is no limit to the number of students that take the state officer exam during the district testing window.
